Ice machine was not working, which really honked off the wife. The receptionist said that so many people used it it was out of ice, but not that many people here. There was no breakfast or pool, even though the website said there was. I would like the Wyndham group to reimburse me for the breakfast I bought at Wendy's. The room was clean and quiet, except for bugs in the bathroom. On satellite view one can see the pool. Now filled in with concrete!

Room is quiet, plenty of parking not very many people here. Off a little access road restaurants and stuff nearby. The bed's a little soft The sheets are a little dingy but not dirty they're just not crisp white but it's clean I mean it's not a bedroom for the price it's pretty good. There's no construction workers no truck drivers nothing like that here. There's probably only three or four people staying here. It's family owned you could see they live here for this decently maintain and the lady at the front desk was nice. I think it's really good for just to stop over while you're traveling that's what I'm using it for. I was too tired to keep driving and here I am. I got it on Priceline it was something like $65 a night. I'm here by myself and I feel safe It's not like a unsafe area or anything like that... it's really nice quiet not crowded area. I recommend it if you're just stopping through it's not bad at all.

I think the current owners have very recently purchased the property. Some rooms are actively being remodeled. The majority of the rooms have brand new tv's and mattresses and new clean bedding. The small housekeeping staff is phenomenal. Great access to the interstate. Plenty of convenient stores and restaurants close by. The free wifi is great when its working. Its goes in and out constant but its very fast when working. Currently they cannot accept any credit or debit card transactions of any kind and you can't book anything online. If you do they cannot and will not honor online booking! So far it hasn't been very busy. It's been quiet and clean. They are pet friendly but of course that comes with extra cost. I can't wait to see what this motel is like when they finish the remodels and upgrades!

Went in the room and one bedspread had a huge stain on it. Then sat in a chair and about fell because it was broken. The shower had hairs all in it and the top of the shower had been semi cleaned but you could see the remaining dirt running down the wall.. I had a family emergency and ask for a refund and since I paid cash they wouldn't allow me to have one. Even tho I stayed less than an hour total.

Positive: It's pet friendly Negative: I don't like how they check you out at 10 am. They start banging on the doors at 8 am. I've paid 2 different prices for my dog to stay. $15 and $20. Which is it?

Super8 is nesty and filthy place . Roaches all in room. Ac is broken. Mold growing in room. Beds had full load of black blood in the bed . Bed bugs running in the bed . I checked out went to days inn way nicer and cleaner place and friendly as well. Do not stay at super8 at all.

Positive: It was close to my job. Negative: It was old. It was not cleaned properly. The sheets had stains. The tub was not cleaned out good. The pillows were old and the pillowcases need to be thrown away.

If I could give this hotel zero stars then I would. After being on the road for hours, my wife and I decided to stop for a rest and this is the hotel that we unfortunately chose.
After purchasing a room at around 3 o’clock in the morning (which is still full price by the way) we checked into the room only to find sheets with cigarette burns and them, and the shower with toilet paper pressed against the wall and feces and roaches in the toilet, along with very very dirty carpet.
I showed the pictures of my room to the staff member who sold the room to us and he immediately issued a refund to my card so I do appreciate that. But, overall, if you are traveling through Alabama, do not stop at this hotel. Terrible management And terrible accommodations.
