Positive: The room was clean and looked recently updated. I didn't rate the room a 10 only because this is not a 5-star hotel ... so I gave it a 9. But for the money the room is a 10 ... a good value! Negative: No.

We've stayed twice five years apart. Both times the place has been amazing. The beds are comfortable and clean. The water pressure is awesome. It's close to everything.

Because of the Taylor Swift concert, I had no other choice but to stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham. I was skeptical at first but hey, I trusted the Wyndham name and needed to be in Covington.

I arrived in the evening and the person behind the bullet proof glass checked me in. Got to the room and holy hell, has anybody from Wyndham corporate looked at this hotel? The Bates motel is a cut above this place!

The entry door did not seal all the way, the bathroom door was broken, a nice crack in the sink and the credenza under the TV was falling apart, with missing drawer pulls and delaminated surfaces. Don't get me started with the small couch, my dog would not sit on a piece of furniture that looks like the one in the room. And the trim around the doors looked like a 5th grader tried to fix them. Sorry, that's an insult to a 5th grader.

Since all nearby hotels were booked, I had no alternative. My room was also never serviced over the three days of my stay. On the plus side, the employees behind the counter (Glass) were friendly, which I appreciated. Wyndham, I strongly urge you to take a closer look at this property—it does not live up to your brand standards.

First location was good BUT I will never stay here again. The floor was nasty, the sink wouldn’t drain, the sheets were dirty and stained, the tub had burned on the side of it and the tv wouldn’t work. When we went to get clean sheets the woman at the front desk acted like she didn’t want to give us fresh sheets. Never again

Well me and my family took a small vacation and when we got into our room the bathroom smelled so bad like weed. So we called the staff and they gave us another room and we got into our other room and we checked out our beds and the sheets were not changed at all there was a snot tissue on the bed which is very disgusting. There was stains on the sheets. We only stayed here because it was only 6 minutes from the vampire diaries tour. I never do reviews or anything like this but we had drove 6 hours just to get to a hotel and have a nice small vacation. We also checked to make sure there was no bedbugs in our beds and there was not. I had to take off the bedsheets and use my blankets just to sleep on my bed because it was so disgusting. I never complain about anything at all like this but this was just outrageous and everything. I do not blame the lady at the front desk because this was not her fault at all but the place was disgusting. I would not stay here if I was you!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this super 8 for 5 days. It was very inexpensive and in a great location for us. There are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area.

The room was clean, the blankets were outdated and had a hole in them. We bring our own blankets and pillows so it was no big deal. There also was a mildew smell throughout the room.

The only big negative about staying here is that you can rent a room with cash, which makes it seem that the hotel premise is less secure. The door closed all the way but you could see a crack which critters could come in. Also, there were a couple of individuals talking on the phone right outside of my room one night. I had to ask them to move areas as we can hear them clearly. There weren’t any other issues besides that.

So if you are looking for an average place to sleep for the night, this is it! Very affordable but you get what you pay for.

The receptionist was rude. The room was disgusting and in disrepair. I have never left a bad review before because I know people have off days. But this was the worst experience I have ever had. I know it’s not the ritz but at least have a clean room. The sheet, comforter, and pillows cases didn’t look like they had been washed, and they stunk so bad I couldn’t sleep. I would rather sleep in my car next time then stay there
