Carpet is filthy. I feel like I should run out and buy some house slippers. Carpets in hotels should be cleaned 1-2 x a year with all the traffic they get. Good shower head pressure. Not enough toiletries in the room. Only had 2 towels and I use 2 by myself...one for my long hair. This is why people do not want to stay at hotels managed/owned/run by Indians. Can't understand them either. It was a good price. But I guess one has to pay 150+ per night to get a NICE room. I though Super 8 hotels were better than this! The one where we live is nice.

BED BUGS!!!!!!

Driving from California to Illinois. Pulled off the 44 to get gas at the Loves and saw the Super 8 across the street. It did not look run down and a quick look at the reviews didn’t seem bad. We just wanted to sleep for the night before getting up early to finish our drive, so we got a room. Check in was easy. The room was okay. Had a musty smell. Was in a non smoking room but the blanket had several burn holes. Whatever we are just there to sleep. BUT THEN THE BED BUGS!!! We quickly grabbed our belongings and packed up to leave.
I stopped at the front desk to let them know about the bugs and that we were leaving and I would like a refund.
The lady at the front desk had absolutely no reaction, she wasn’t shocked, didn’t apologize, just said okay and started working up the refund.
So I said, “You don’t seem shocked, have you heard this before?” She looked at me kind of bewildered and then said, “I’m just half asleep, I just got here”. I didn’t respond. She processed my refund. We left.

Upon looking further into the reviews I have seen several other accounts of bed bugs.

The pillows are fluffiest I've experiened traveling. Love curb-side entry from car. Love the beautiful grassy area for my dog. Excellent bed and quiet sleep. Room lighting was perfect. I forgot my night light, but found the floor lamp worked perfect so I could see without bumping into anything when I got up to use bathroom at 3 am.

I apologize if this is getting to you too late. I was here the night I believe of Wednesday the 13th of November. To start things off I booked a non-smoking King earlier in the day and when I arrived my non-smoking room had been given to somebody else so I was stuck with a smoking room. Room 131 to be exact. I understand it's a smoking room but this room was absolutely disgusting it was dirty and it literally wreaked of smoke which I understand because it is a smoking room. So I left the door open for an hour or so to help air the room out.... I wiped everything down in the room and proceeded to get ready for bed. The bed was not actually uncomfortable but it did have bugs bed bugs to be exact. The next morning I called the front desk and they nonchalantly told me oh sorry to hear that we will have maintenance look into it. I don't know this lady I've never spoken to her before but just the way she was talking to me about the situation I believe that she knew that this was not the first time she had gotten this phone call. I am now riddled with bites. Again beware of room 131

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times. it. It’s always good for a quick overnight at an affordable price. It’s an older facility that could use some updating, but it’s always clean and comfortable for just me. it might not be up to standards for my family, though.

I booked a reservation in November for 12/14 and was charged up front then canceled the next day because my plans changed. After I reserved my room it said I could cancel up to 48 hours before my stay and get refunded. But after canceling I didn't get refunded. I talked to the manager and she said the person who I spoke with to cancel isn't able to cancel reservations. Which I was never told. So the manager claimed she canceled it but I still haven't been refunded. I called again and the manager is refusing to help me saying she can't give refunds. This is literally the dumbest group of humans I've ever dealt with. And the manager clearly doesn't know what she's doing. I've even contacted the BBB and the Super 8 corporate to have them investigate this further.

Surfaces in the room were dirty. Sheets were dirty and had dried up blood on them. There was only about 90 seconds of hot water at 9 PM, and again even less at 6:30 AM. Front desk was argumentative about the problems rather than helpful.

Rooms are small. There was pee on the tolit when we showed up to the room. Very small breakfast no protein severed it was just snacks nothing with substance, other than the walfes. Overall quality kinda poor. Would not recommend for the price.
