Great atmosphere and vibe! Very busy on a Sunday morning, but a seat at the bar was open. Was served by Nathan, who was outstanding and went above and beyond! The food came out Hot and fresh and quickly. Only downside was I felt the food could have used a little more seasoning and flavoring. Ordered the chicken and waffles along with the Chorizo sausage omelet! Will definitely return!

This was our first time visiting this place for breakfast. I think it might be one of my favorite breakfast spots. Our server Jordan was amazing, attentive, had great suggestions and really made us feel welcomed.
Of course, service was only one part of the quality experience we enjoyed today. The food options on the menu was the other part. I really enjoyed the breakfast croissant sandwich with the chicken sausage and my wife eggs Benedict with fries and pancakes were cooked to perfection.
We're definitely returning soon.

11/09/2024 Update: We've now been here five times already and still recommending it to all our friends. We sat in their dog friendly patio area and really enjoyed the heated area now that winter finally arrived in Phoenix. Pet on area was well behaved... maybe we'll bring one of ours next time. Had the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich for a second time and it was delicious. Posting a picture of the Area Pet Rules, in case anyone wants to bring their pets.

During a recent visit, my friend and I found a delightful place with a fun atmosphere and friendly staff. We truly enjoyed the setting, as it was clean and inviting. However, we found that the food could use some improvement. The flavors were quite bland and didn't capture our desired authentic taste.

A few simple adjustments could make a big difference. For instance, adding salt and pepper while whisking the eggs or incorporating fresh lime/lemon and garlic into the salsa verde could really enhance the flavors. If the salsa is labeled as spicy, it would be great to have that reflected in its taste, allowing it to truly engage the palate.
My plate looked sad and tasteless.
Our server was wonderfully sweet and kind, but they could have asked more open-ended questions to provide better menu suggestions. Although our food took a while to arrive, the lovely company and ambiance made the wait more enjoyable. Overall, I recommend trying it, as it could have just been an off day for the chef.

We’re from out of state and wanted to check out a local breakfast joint. This place did not disappoint! Our server, Raya was so kind and personable, attentive, and constantly checked in on our table of 8. Service was great, food came out quickly and was delicious - I’m so glad she recommended those blueberry granola pancakes. Best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life!!! They make their granola in-house!

The gluten free pancake was ok. It wasn’t anything to write home about. The oatmeal was delicious. The biscuits and gravy, and the eggs Benedict was good.
I enjoyed the thick cut bacon and their chai tea!
The food came out nice and quick, but our waters weren’t refilled and we weren’t offered any additional drinks.

As a four-time, 24-year decorated Army war veteran and a lifelong servant in faith and community, I hold deep appreciation for places that make you feel valued and welcomed. Sunshine Breakfast Bar is one such place—a true gem in the community near my place of employment. Every time I visit, I am met with exceptional service, delicious food, and an atmosphere that feels like home.
I want to take a moment to specifically commend Ava, a remarkable employee who goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care have made each of my visits memorable. Ava’s ability to create an environment where everyone feels appreciated is unparalleled, and her attention to detail is a testament to the high standards of this establishment.
As someone who has spent decades serving this nation, both as an Army veteran and in my roles as Southwest Regional Bishop with the Faith, Hope, and Love International Ministries and the Vice President of the West Valley NAACP, I can confidently say that Sunshine Breakfast Bar stands out as a beacon of hospitality and community spirit. It’s a place where you’re not just a customer; you’re family.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sunshine Breakfast Bar to all first responders and military veterans. The respect and care they show are unmatched, and Ava exemplifies the best of what this restaurant has to offer. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or looking for a place to gather with friends and family, Sunshine Breakfast Bar is the perfect destination.
Thank you to the managers, Ava, and the entire Sunshine Breakfast Bar team for your unwavering dedication to excellence and for creating a space where community and service are truly celebrated.

In town for Mayo Clinic and wanted to eat more than bacon and eggs. Read reviews and recommendations and decided Sunshine Breakfast bar was it. We were impressed. For Sunday morning brunch, they were busy, but we didn’t wait long. Staff was extremely friendly. Our server Kelly was great! We had perused the menu before, but based on others recommendations changed our minds and were glad we did. We ordered blueberry granola pancakes and Greek avocado toast. Both were excellent! Food came out fast especially for how busy they were. And was so good. The salad on top of the Greek avocado toast was wonderful. Would have been happy with just that but the addition of avocado, yummy. The blueberry granola pancakes were so good that syrup wasn’t necessary. Would highly recommend visiting here. We may even come back tomorrow after appointments That’s how good it is!

Went here for the first time for take out, online menu had great pictures and looked appetizing. We checked it when we got home and the French toast we had ordered was just two dry burnt pieces of plain french toast with none of the six or seven ingredient toppings it was supposed to come with included. My partner called and they said to come back and they would remake it, when we got it home again it was still just the French toast in the box with bags with tiny cups of the ingredients that you have to assemble yourself, which I've never encountered before with breakfast take out, and is not something I would ever want again. The fruit was also beautifully sliced in their pictures and all we got was one single whole strawberry in a cup, like what? They didn't advertise this as a "have to make your own breakfast place". Is this how they serve it when you dine in there too? Or are only take out customers treated this way. Yikes. Also we had ordered the potatoes and bacon crispy and they were both very soggy and definitely not crispy. Never going back.
