We stayed here for the first time, the week after 4th of July. We were very comfortable at this resort, kids enjoyed the pool and playground area. Our cabin was very clean and had what we needed for our four day stay. We were able to purchase ice for our cooler. Dock is nice and the cove is nice and calm for swimming off the dock. Doug, the owner, is very accommodating. We will definitely be back. This is our favorite place to stay on Lake Norfork.

My family and I checked in on a Monday for a three night stay . The owners were very friendly and eager to please. The cabin was very clean, all towels and linens adequately stocked. The size of the cabin was suitable for our stay, will probably opt for larger quarters next time for a longer stay . The location is relative to nowhere not too far from town (about 20-25 minutes for us). The drive to their boat dock is a bit of a rough ride, but worth it for the boat access and the swim deck. Their pool was very clean and proved to be a great source of entertainment for our children. My kids agree, the slide is awesome and the rec hall is fun. We hope to stay again sometime!

Overall, we enjoyed our visit at Sunrise Point. It is very secluded yet close enough to town if you need anything. The cabin was smaller than I was lead to believe, but it was clean and comfortable. It doesn't have a lake view and the road to the dock was quite rough. The pool was awesome!! We really enjoyed it when we weren't on the lake. You could get ice in the office, but I don't think I'd call it a general store. Just a little misleading here and there. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit.

We vacationed at Sunrise point and the facility was super nice and super clean. The new owners are very nice and accommodating. The pool and game room are very entertaining for the kids with a kids slide and everything. The boat dock is pretty new, the only issues is it's a gravel road down hill to get to it. A truck is my recommendation to get to it or a golf cart. (It's not that bad, but it is a fun trip). ||I will defiantly return.

After staying at other resorts on Lake Norfork, my buddies and I decided to start looking for better quality, and found it at Sunrise Point. The cabins are great, ZERO bugs in the entire cabin for four years in a row now. The on site store has ice, lighter fluid, and a few other bare necessities. The owner is always available and truly cares that your stay is worth every penny. The cabins are in fine shape and have been up to par ever since we started coming here. Don't expect a nightly turn down service, but also don't expect to be disappointed||||The on site swimming pool and rec room will keep you busy on days/ nights when you get rained out from the lake. They also provide grills, just bring your own coals and fluid.||||Overall, I don't think you get any better than this place. Very hard to believe the other reviewer saw any bugs in their cabin... having just gotten back from my sixth stay here, and zero incidents.

Clean, Friendly, Bug free. Doug, the Owner , was very helpful and did his best to make sure we had a pleasant stay. My Family and I agree, we will come here again! About 10 miles from a Wal Mart and Stores. Nice big boat dock with a swim deck.

The resort was beyond needing repair. There is an infestation of chigger bugs, sheets and bedding has holes and very worn, not clean in fact I’m guessing it’s been years since fans and carpets have been cleaned. Gaps under doors which lets in bugs and missing many kitchen basics. Advertised a general store but found an empty store carrying ice and bait surrounded by empty shelving. Rec room was falling apart, dirty and no towels for pool as advertised. There is no maintaining going on. It smells musty and dirty. Owner kept bringing towels for leaks! A horrible expeeience

We stayed the week of July 16th - the 21st. This is our first stay at Sunrise. Some of my friends have been coming here for a couple of years now. They have bragged about the type of service the owners give you and they were correct. Doug and his family are all terrific. There are always some minor things that can be changed, but over all we are very happy with our stay and will definitely make this our preferred location until we have our own place up there. Couldn't of ask for a better host while staying at one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. I would definitely recommend Sunrise Point to any of my friends for a great time with friends of family.
