Wow! Wow! This place did not disappoint! From our kind server, to the wonderful atmosphere and the amazing food! I was a first timer and today I became, a regular. They have so many varieties of items on the menu. I am definitely coming back!

Besides being a little cold when we walked in, this place is filled with warm welcomes and great food. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak. Handmade and huge portion. My wife and I split it and still couldn't eat it all, but it was awesome.

You can tell by the picture we couldn't eat it all and still there's a massive amount left.

Happiness is Sunny Daze Cafe! I asked for the biggest cup of coffee and one the size of my fave arrived. The omelet was just what I was craving and the service was so friendly and joyful, I didn’t want to leave.

It's really good here! A friend brought me and I brought my family. We loved the food and service. The only thing I have to say that is a negative is, the price per item is not true when paying for your food. The menu has one price and the register has a different price. It might not seem like a big deal but it makes a difference when paying for a big family. The cost of food should be transpearant. If prices change the menu should reflect the accuracy.

We had just arrived. Our server was nice and friendly. The juices we ordered were good. The food was fresh and delicious. Bathrooms were clean and kept up. It is definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood .

Five years ago, after one hell of a first date, we went here for breakfast. I guess it’s that bliss after the first night(s) with your soul mate, or perhaps it’s the flamingos, either way the atmosphere was unforgettable. So when we returned to Tucson five years later to plan our wedding it felt like a must to have breakfast here again. Without the bliss that we had in the morning after the magical moments we shared five years ago we had some clarity on the food. Which is just not good. Log cabin syrup should not come at a cost of 12 plus dollars a plate. Chicken should not be smooth fried tubes if it’s home made and breaded fresh. Eating waffles out should not be store bought mix. The food is simply put bland. Greasy and cheap. All that said. The people working and ambiance is amazing and memorable, unforgettable in fact. Still adore the flamingos.

How have I lived here for 18+ and never tried this place I will never know... but today we did while trying to find a place we had never been. We hit them on a Saturday AM and were able to be seated right away. The place is cute inside, with a diner type vibe to it. Everyone was friendly and welcoming with a smidge of edge, so most reviews that talk about service are spot on - I think the service is what really makes this place.

We ordered the sunny puffs, which are like little beignets but consistency is different. They are delicious though, like little light powered donuts. I ordered the omelet/biscuit bowl, my husband the huevos rancheros (Mexican version on the menu). Okay so normally he is very judgey and hard core about Huevos Rancheros but here (and I thought for sure he would diss them when I saw the plate) he LOVED them. He went on and on about the sauce, and our server gave him a little container to take home. Mine was fine, solid food.
