A blast from the past! Our three bed suite was awesome other than we personally wished the TV was in the two bed room and not the single bedroom. Otherwise, great stay as always!

This was a cheaper option in Kanab and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Have to give this place such a low rating as the shower was awful. The water pressure was so high, it was painful and just getting pelted with water. Also both nozzles in the shower had H’s on them so it was kind of difficult to figure out how to adjust the water temperature. I also had to wait about 10 minutes to check in when I was originally the only one in the office waiting. There was a number to call but no one answered.

I come back here every single year! Geniel is an awesome person, runs business well. I love the energy of the space. Great food options walking distance in the area, too!

Positive: Nice little touches and a great location make up for a seedy looking exterior. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean inside and mattress was firm. Fridge in room actually had a freezer that worked! Liked that I could park my motorcycle next to door! Negative: Flimsy door lock, etc. Streaming TV better than nothing, but minimal network availability. No breakfast at all. Super small shower, didn't even try it. OK for the money.

Its probably not the fanciest spot in town but the vibes are super comfortable and the manager was super sweet and helpful recommending things to check out in the area since I wasn’t able to nab a permit for the wave. Will definitely be back!

The motel was very retro - rooms and hospitality reminded me of "Happy Days". It had the most friendly staff... I heard about the great home made muffins, and asked the owner about them.. She said she didn't always make them... but 6am next morning - there was a plate of home made blueberry muffins. Motel was in a great location in terms of recreational activities and access to North Rim of the Grand Canyon (.. well except if you are able to score a place on the rim itself).

The room itself was very spacious, and the kitchenette worked out well with a small refrig and micro. I did have some issues which I wish I would I have noticed before turning in for bed... I couldn't figure out how to control the heat (thank god they had these thick comforters), and I couldn't figure out how to turn on a very loud exhaust fan in the ceiling of the room... Admittedly with the fan - the white noise put me to sleep.. Owner of motel me (and those who were hiking with me) a GREAT recommendation in terms of a place to eat.. Sun-n-Sand is definitely a place I would recommend you stay at (even if there is cheaper rooms across the street ;- ).

This is my second stay at this motel. I was in room #9. It was a large room with two queen beds, a desk, two big night tables, a television, and a refrigerator. This room can easily accommodate 4 adults. As always, the room and the bathroom were very clean. The property is well maintained and walking distance from the beach. My only complaint was the occupants of the room above me. It sounded like they were wearing wooden clogs, or maybe they had hooves, I don't know--- maybe they were learning the Cha-Cha-Cha! Nonetheless, they were so loud and incredibly inconsiderate. I had the worst sleep and I had to wake up at 3am. The noise was the only reason for a 4 star. Other than the Dance Party USA above my head, I will continue to recommend this quaint and clean motel.

This hotel has a cool 60's vibe. It was very clean. The sheets were super soft and smelled really nice too.
We arrived late, but they left an envelope with a nice hand-written note and the key inside.
Breakfast was served starting at 6:30. There was fruit, oatmeal packets, and muffins (not homemade on this day, but still yummy).
The Sun-n-Sand motel is conveniently located along Highway 89 in Kanab.
