I am so glad I came here with my wife and son!!! We had a great time with fantastic hosts, Brian and Mia! Super friendly and welcoming😃 could not have asked for anything more for a very relaxing at their Bed and Breakfast for two nights. I slept like a complete baby on the last night only to wake up and have wonderful breakfasts on both mornings. This truly was a perfect trip and stay🥳

Boring stuff but needed for travelers to know: beds are super comfy!!!

So glad we came across this gem! Such a cool vibe with such unique decor. Love all the old history displayed everywhere. The pancakes were amazing and the owners were the nicest! Oh and the wild turkeys were so funny to see in the morning!

Had a really nice visit. Would totally stay again. Host was very easy to contact and communicate with. Only regret was that we couldn't stay two nights! I don't think I've stayed in a cleaner place. The host family was very warm and friendly, even sitting with us for breakfast to talk about the history of the hotel (HOW many times must they have told the stories before!?) as well as give advice for where to go snowshoeing nearby.

My stay at Sumpter B&B was absolutely wonderful. The place is rustic and adorable. It’s clean and very comfortable. The hosts are a lovely couple who make you feel welcome and will cook you up a delicious breakfast. 10/10 I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

The owners are very friendly, and helped showed me my room. The doctors tools you see on display were owned by Doctor. Hickerson who worked in that building when it was a 🏥 in the early 1900's. When he retired he packed his tools in apple crates, and when the current owners bought this building, he donated his medical tools to them, which fits with the historical accuracy of the building. Also they serve you good breakfast in the morning, and there's board games to keep yourself occupied.

This is, by far, the best place I've ever stayed. For anyone interested in history, adventure, friendly hosts, and great vibes, this is the place for you. The owner and his family were beyond wonderful and we're glad to tell us all about the history of the building and it's town. My friend and I were there for a ghost investigation, and to our surprise and delight, they keep hand-written records by previous guests that detail their own experiences. We had an amazing stay and a lovely breakfast, and I recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone who passes through the area. Thanks for having us, Brian!

This place is hands down our favorite place on Sumpter! The owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and serve an amazing breakfast! The beds are comfortable and all the areas are clean. The atmosphere is so homey and comfortable it's like staying with friends and still clean and accommodating like a hotel! We had such an amazing experience! This place will be the first option for us every time we come to Sumpter. It is a diamond!
