Our stay at Sugar Magnolia deserved six out of five stars! The home itself is beautiful, from a lovely sitting area to a beautiful study to the rooms themselves. Our room was comfortable, bright, and made us feel right at home. But what really made us feel at home was the amazing hospitality! Kathryn was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and friendly. She made sure our stay was comfortable. We loved having meals in the morning and meeting other guests, and the breakfasts were delicious too! We would not hesitate at all to stay here again, and hope to do so sooner than later!

My fiancée (now wife) and I were searching for the ideal wedding venue, and we found it at Sugar Magnolia! We rented three of the four rooms: The Royal Suite for ourselves, where we also held the ceremony; The Garden Room for the bride's parents; and The Cottage Suite for the groom's mother and cousin. Built in 1892, the rooms, common areas, and grounds were stunningly beautiful with a peaceful atmosphere. The location is just a 10-minute walk (1/2 mile) from Krog Street Market, offering a great selection of bars and restaurants. On top of that, the owners, Debi and Jim, were so accommodating and made us feel at home, while the innkeeper, Kathryn, was incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful, and an outstanding cook. We can't recommend this place enough!

Sugar Magnolia was an amazing stay thanks to the super walkable neighborhood next to the beltline, the amazing room and house overall, and Kathryn being a great innkeeper. Breakfasts with the other guests were also very nice. This will be my top choice for lodging on future Atlanta visits.

We stayed 2 days in this very nice house in a charming neighbourhood of Atlanta. The host was very welcoming and made us feel absolutely welcome. The house really feels like a true B&B, not a hotel - nicely appointed, lots of charming details. The house is very near to Krog's foodmarket and the Atlanta beltline - so lot's do to.

Came and stayed at this wonderful accommodation for my cousins wedding. The welcome was wonderful my aunty and I stayed in the cottage and it was absolutely amazing. Very clean and quite the breakfast was delicious and Cathy took so much care to make we were all happy. I live in the UK but if ever I’m Atlanta again I would love to go there again.

Beautiful house with amazing service and delicious breakfasts! Kathryn was so friendly and sweet. Also the perfect location for seeing the city. All that for a very fair price. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We booked our stay at Sugar Magnolia for our wedding at the Trolley Barn and it was perfect! We loved the location and the charm of this place. Kathryn, the innkeeper, was warm and welcoming and even brought us some toiletries the morning after our wedding when I left my bag at the venue. We got to walk back to Sugar Magnolia the night of our wedding and it was priceless!

Lovely homely house. Great staff. Great location. Everything was perfect. I would not stay anywhere else when in Atlanta. Walking distance to Martin Luther King memorial and historic locations. Walking distance to Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum. Three blocks over is Krog Street with food markets and bars.
