I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights. Location was VERY convenient to both Carlisle and Gettysburg.
The accommodations were wonderful! Our room, house decor, the deck outside, landscaping, the pool, and small amenities are all well thought out and taken care of.
Russell is a friendly host who makes delicious breakfasts and is willing to accommodate or help with any questions.
A definite stay if you are in the area!

This is a beautiful property both outside and in. The proprietors were friendly and respectful. The pool and patio with the surrounding gardens are very peaceful and relaxing. The house is well insulated for noise. We didn’t know there were 6 other people staying there until we met them in the dinning room for a delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and, have already told our family and friends to stay there when traveling in the area

The property and grounds are kept in such excellent condition (and accented with such lovely, thought out details and decorations) that it feels almost magical and otherworldly. Clean, beautiful, and interesting to roam - on top of that, great breakfast, where guests' preferences and dietary limitations are considered.

Russell is also a great host - clearly has a good heart and enjoys making the manor a memorable experience. Michael and I are grateful for your hospitality!

We came across this place purely by chance, as we had a day in hand while driving across the state and were simply looking for somewhere with an outdoor pool for some R&R. What a find, and rather better than some random Hampton Inn!!!
It's a beautiful place and even us jaded Brits were impressed with the historic house, the decor and the setting. The hosts were attentive and friendly but, with no other guests there, we really felt we had the place to ourselves. Would highly recommend.

The most wonderful, cream of the crop Bed & Breakfast. A miniature Biltmore estate, with the most gracious and accommodating hosts. Wonderful rooms, with top notch furnishings and fantastic landscaping. Also convenient to local amenities and Amish country. Everything completely exceeding our expectations. Stuart Manor is a beautiful property inside and outside. The rooms and bathrooms are updated recently and were very clean. The outside has remarkable landscaping, a wonderful koi pond and a nice pool area. Russell was a pleasant host and made a great breakfast. I definitely recommend it for the price.

If you are looking for a b&b in the Carlisle area look no further. For starters, Russel the host is squared away, he immediately made us feel at home. The property is magnificent, from the patio/pool area to the beautiful views surrounding the the home. The room was beautiful and super clean and comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal, you will not be disappointed. Our next trip to Carlisle we will be returning.
