Overall one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. Nicole, over server answered all our questions regarding the menu and was attentive the entire evening. The chicken parm and francaise, arrived perfectly cooked and seasoned, mine could have been a bit hotter though. Dessert here is a must, eccellente! The interior is rather small but we can't wait to try the outdoor area when the weather allows. The highlight of our evening was when Mike, the owner, came to our table and treated with us as if we were his only guests. We will be returning.

Our first time here for dinner and what a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious. We had the arancini and mussels as starters . for our main dish we had the pork with spicy marinara sauce which came with broccoli and fingerling potatoes and one of the specials: mushroom risotto with scallops. For desert we shared a healthy portion of tiramisu. Our waitress Natalie was very nice and the owner Mike checked in with us multiple times too. All the food tasted very fresh and was nicely prepared using quality ingredients We will definitely be back!

This was my second time at Stix n stones.
I was hoping to enjoy it more than my 1st time a year ago. Unfortunately I did not.
We ordered a salad to share, two entrees & two desserts.
The salad came without the cheese and was lacking a citrus flavor as indicated in the dressing choice. When we realized after eating most of the salad that the cheese was missing Andy brought us some. It did make it taste better, but by then we'd eaten most of it. There was no offer to take the item off the bill.
The mushroom ravioli and sauce were good.
The gnocchi with shrimp was not. The shrimp were small and overcooked, not to mention there were only 3 of them! The sauce was okay, but not full of much flavor.
The carrot cake was the worst I've ever had. It had very little flavor and the frosting was not what I expected (cream cheese), in fact I don't know what it was, but it was awful.
The bill came to $145 & change. I requested the $14 salad be removed from the bill. I gave the $150 gift card I had, expecting to get it back with $19 on it. It was not returned. I was told we were all set.
EXTREMELY disappointed. Will NOT return.

My mom and I got 3 delicious appetizers which ended up being perfect. The aracini appetizer (a.k.a. rice ball but more like rice tower) was beyond delicious served in vodka sauce. And the staff and owner Sal were just terrific. And such a cool, clean, beautiful dining room.

Josh and I had the most incredible Valentine’s Day dinner at Stix and Stones! From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the exceptional service, Mike and his team made the night unforgettable.

Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor—the steak was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, the seafood was expertly seared, and dessert was pure indulgence. The service was top-notch, with Mike and his team ensuring every detail was just right.

Stix n Stones has incredible food! I ate lunch here last week, and it was so good, I made a point to come back for dinner. This is exquisite food! And it's in such an unassuming little spot on the edge of Storrs...I'm glad I finally stopped in. For dinner, I had the Sicilian salad, which included oranges and capers berries with tomatoes, and it was fantastic. I also had the seafood parpadelle with saffron sauce. It was a delight. I expected the sauce to be creamy, but I'm glad it wasn't. More like a saffron cioppino with parpadelle. Exquisite! Add to that the bread with olive oil dipping plate, delicious wine, and a limoncello mascarpone cake. This little place really exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it!

My Loaded Omelet was hearty, cooked well and the potatoes were delicious. I wish they had more smoothie options. Regardless the Mango Peach was refreshing!

Will be coming back for dinner. There is a bar and mini shop in front. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for good atmosphere and service 👍
