We had a wonderful mini- vacation at the Streamboat Inn! Things we loved: The staff was very nice and professional. The location is perfect. Our room was very clean and nicely-appointed, and the bed/linens/pillows were so comfy! We received a lovely complimentary cheese and fruit board, and a bottle of Prosecco, which was much appreciated! Parking was convenient, right at the site, and free! Breakfast was delicious, and made hot and fresh just for us. And the Jacuzzi tub was a nice addition. Things to note: Mystic is very quiet during the winter months and many of the shops were not open. We had a great dinner at the Engine Room, and wonderful lobster rolls and clam chowder at The Mariner right nextdoor. We’ll be back, and we’d absolutely stay at the Steamboat again! What a treat!

Words can not accurately convey the excellent service the Staff at the Steamboat Inn provided. The room accommodations were more than adequate for my wife and I to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. The pictures do not do justice as to the spaciousness of our room, the Carolyn Suite. A special acknowledgement goes to Parke, he seemed to be everywhere, especially when a question needed answering, an inquiry regarding our Breakfast needs or sorting out parking. You, Sir, made an already stellar stay just that much more enjoyable. Even though we live in Trumbull, we love Mystic and occasionally go there for an overnight getaway. There is a fantastic restaurant in Mystic, but sometimes it isn't easy to get a reservation.|So, when we get a reservation, we book a room where and when we want to go. Very lucky to get a great room overlooking the Mystic River. The Steamboat Inn was perfect

Treat yourself. Stay at the Steamboat Inn if you want a get away at a prime time of year. Yes, it's cold. But the Mystic Rte. 1 traffic is manageable, even light; the rooms are dead quiet; and no reservations needed at walkable restaurants. | Speaking of rooms, Steamboat has thought of everything: comfort in decor, sitting area, working fireplace, bed, and bathroom amenities. My room overlooked the river and diving mergansers. | When I was delayed by a snow and sleet combo (and all area museums shut down), I was very happy to hole up in my bright cozy room - thanks to a generous extention by the management.| My only difficulty over all was finding the way into the gated parking lot. Pay attention to Steamboat's confirmation and put your GPS on Water Street entry. Look for public parking signs. Staying at the Steamboat gives you free vehicle entry to come and go.

The Steamboat Inn is fantastic! Amazing location, friendly people and an overall wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived until we left, we could not ask for a better time. The rooms are great, breakfast was delicious and we couldnt ask for anything more.

Great little Inn right in the center of everything in Mystic. Room was comfortable, overlooked the water and bridge, and had a working fireplace. The breakfast included was a nice little bonus. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Will return next time in the area.

Fantastic early overnight stay for Valentine’s Day ! We chose the Annie Wilcox room for our first time staying at the Steamboat Inn as our first choice was already taken. Sandra texted us that our room was available 2 hours early and she was wonderful getting us an extra log for our fireplace and ordering our take out dinner for us at The Mariner. Even getting me a bacon cheeseburger I was craving that wasn’t on the menu. Over and beyond customer service here ! Location is wonderful even in off season, you can walk everywhere. Some stores were closed but we found plenty of stores to wander around and grab a cocktail or two. We had a fireplace room and it snowed while we were there and it was just magical being on the river. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was wonderful as was 24/7 coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Our only two complaints would be that we thought it was weird at breakfast they only gave us one piece of toast to share and we had to cut it in half ourselves lol. Not a deal breaker whatsoever but just weird. And then again not a deal breaker but I think the furniture in the Annie Wilcox could use a refresh. Seemed a little old and tired even for a rustic Inn. Would definitely come again in the off season, price was great !

The location was amazing, on the water and close to EVERYTHING. We walked to the shops, pub and restaurant we visited. Parking is included which I am sure is valuable during the busy seasons. The room was spacious, clean and perfect condition. Added bonus was the included breakfast in the morning.
