we got a wide selection of too many donuts and ate all of them... especially liked the cake donuts but everything was pretty great... lady was nice, too...

Friends told me that this place has the best apple fritters, so when I found myself in Parker I checked them out. The apple fritters were amazing! Crispy on the outside, gooey apples on the inside, and not too much glaze. I also got a few other donuts to try. Everything was excellent. The woman behind the counter was super nice.

Arrived too late in the day to get an apple fritter but got a bear claw and cinnamon roll. They were awesome. Looking for another reason to pass through Parker, earlier this time.

I’m so glad we stopped as we passed by this place! The Apple fritter was perfectly baked and crisp, and the apple-filled bear claw was amazing, with plenty of filling and perfect topping.

Update: Return trip to Parker and I must say the Stark Bakery really up'd their Apple Fritter game. Not only is it bigger, but they really have perfected the contents, loads of apple chunks, and fried to absolute perfection. For someone that has traveled coast to coast and tasted AF's everywhere this is Top 5 easily. Just typing this review, is making me hungry for one.

This rating is for the Apple Fritter only. Went hunting earlier in the morning so by the time I got around to evaluate this donut legend in the sticks of Parker it was around 2pm.
First impression was above average girth, dark color, and solid fried/glazed edges. Size was somewhat deceiving to the weight as you would expect the density to weigh it down more commensurating the size, but it doesn’t just a tad on the light side.
Inside was light, fresh, with very small bits of apple. Taste was well above average and will have u reaching back in the bag for more.
The only downgrade is the price which I feel is on the high side. $2.50 isn’t bad but it’s not a bargain. I know materials may be hard to come by in Parker but 2.50 should be more like $1.75-$2. Just my $.02
Overall I would pass up donuts elsewhere and stop here at this dessert gem.

Really excellent donuts and good breakfast sandwiches! Also, try the egg rolls! A tasty surprise that, amazingly, pairs well with donuts. Way better than your typical chain doing shop. Small town, family run shop. Friendly and quick. Reasonable prices.
