Our stay at the Squire Resort was absolutely amazing! The room was incredibly spacious and clean, offering plenty of comfort for our family. The ample parking space made things so convenient, and the friendly and accommodating staff truly enhanced our experience.

We loved the 24/7 complimentary Starbucks coffee available in the lobby—a great touch! The resort is packed with amenities, including a pool, play area with multiple games, and an arcade zone, which kept the kids entertained throughout our stay. The inclusion of a microwave and refrigerator in the room was especially convenient for a family vacation, making it easy to prepare snacks and meals for the little ones.

One of the highlights of our stay was the evening fire grill experience. The resort provides complimentary marshmallows, Hershey’s chocolate, and sticks for roasting, creating a cozy and fun family activity we all enjoyed.

The location is also unbeatable, just a 10-minute drive to the South Rim Visitor Center, perfect for catching a breathtaking sunrise.

Overall, we had an excellent experience, and the kids had an absolute blast! This resort exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for families visiting the Grand Canyon!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at this hotel. It’s a very clean and definitely family-friendly facility with a warm and welcoming atmosphere! Every staff member we encountered was incredibly nice and friendly. When we reported that the heater in our room wasn’t working properly, a technician came immediately, even around 9 PM, and fixed it. They also apologized for the inconvenience, even though it wasn’t a big issue for us.

The free coffee machine and water fountain were really great and added to the overall comfort of our stay. Excellent service and a great experience overall!

This was the perfect getaway. I thought we were just booking a hotel near the Grand Canyon but it turned into an even more amazing experience than I expected. The hospitality staff at this resort are amazing!! From housekeeping to the arcade/bowling attendant, to the front desk staff; everyone was so kind and accommodating. The restaurant staff was phenomenal! Bill, the bartender, remembered my husband and I from the night before (even though we got there at closing and couldn’t be served; he directed us to where we could dine) and Mason, the F&B supervisor, brought us our extras that we needed and kept checking on my husband and I. Thank you for having us! We can’t wait to come back!

This was the highlight of our 4 night stay! Guillermo was amazing when we checked in. He was upbeat, friendly and extremely kind. My boys loved the many activities they had for the guests. The arcade and game room is a nice addition to the hotel!

The best feature of this hotel is the location in close proximity to the Grand Canyon - that is why it earned my 1 star. Other than that, it was a disappointment. When I think of resort, I think of a relaxing atmosphere and all details of the room are pristine. However, that was not our experience. We had a ground level room in building 300 - that was our first mistake. The ground floor on the side of the building we were on had no buffer (sidewalk, bushes, etc) from cars pulling in right up to the window at all hours with the lights shining in our large window, car doors slamming, people talking and then their horn honking when they clicked to lock their car doors. When we checked in at 4:00, the hallway had piles of dirty sheets/towels piled in front of most of the doors on that floor - it stayed like this until late that night. The walls in the hotel are very thin which made hall noise easily heard in the room. However, the worst part of the stay was our bathroom. This hotel room had by far the smallest hotel bathroom we have ever seen. The vanity was tiny with a small amount of countertop space to even hold a small makeup bag. The shower did not have any type of shelf or niche to put personal toiletries on. You will have to put them on the shower floor or try to balance them on the hotel soap/shampoo caddy attached to the shower wall. And best of all, the shower curtain did not reach the shower floor, so the floor was soaking wet after each use and had to be mopped up with towels after each shower - please see pics. Also, the ceiling sprinkler in the bathroom was taped over with masking tape - not sure the thought process behind that one - but I’m sure that’s a safety hazard.

This was close to being a 5/5 but sadly a cockroach in the room made it a 4 paired with minimal carpark spaces. Everything else was awesome the resort had everything you could need in the one location with the addition of lawn games and even a winter s’mores station. Check in was easy and we were actually sad to only spend one night here as we would have loved to use the facilities more. Would highly recommend this when venturing to the Grand Canyon.

Great place to stay near the Grand Canyon. The resort has so many great amenities. I booked a King room with an adjoining double queen, but when we got in the staff said they were out of that combination, so we had to stay in two double rooms. The beds were comfortable and the staff gave us some coupons for the restaurant and arcade since they weren’t able to accommodate our room choice.

If I could give more stars I would. Our room was perfect- comfortable bed and pillows. Great blackout curtains. The lobby is beautiful and boasts free coffee and a great shop. This hotel has every amenity you could ask for! The lower level has a great restaurant with pub food. My husband had the burger and I had a chicken Cesar salad and both were excellent! We popped over to the arcade and bowling after dinner and spent the evening at the pool bar playing corn hole and connect 4 on the patio area. Highly highly recommend this place for a family or young couple. My only feedback for the hotel would be that our shower curtain rod was installed too high leaving a 3 inch gap causing the bathroom floor to get wet every time the shower was used. It wasn’t a big deal, just the only imperfection in an otherwise perfect stay! Thank you Best Western!
