I come here at least once a week. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are excellent! My favorite pizza is the Bianco and favorite salad is the Beet Dropper, both create the perfect amount of contrast between saltiness and sweetness. This restaurant is perfect for a college town. It brings people together and creates a fun and lively atmosphere that everyone is looking for! Storrs is so lucky to have this place!!!!

We consider ourselves "beet salad experts" - tasting experts only! This salad exceeded our expectations with its large portion size, fresh ingredients, and both red and golden beets. It can be easily shared for 2 people or suffice as a light dinner.

Paired the salad with the best pizza -- Figgy Piggy - nice balance of sweet (fig jam) and salty (prosciutto)!

Definitely will recommend it to friends and order on our next visit.

Calling to place a takeout first they hangup, try again they put me on hold for 10min then hangup again. My husband call them they said to place online an order they busy cant take any orders over the phone. Ordered pasta and a pizza, pizza comes undercooked, cold, floppy and the amount of pasta for $22 was just a joke looks like a kids meal so small and tasted watery. This is my first time having this bad experience at this place. This is not how the food should be and the service.

Great happy hour deals here! I had the meatball pizza, and it was really good—nice flavor and cooked really well! The pegarita was solid, refreshing but not too sweet. We also got a brownie sundae afterward, which was a nice way to finish things off. Definitely a good spot to hang out and grab a bite.

Music, sports on TV, and a personable, attentive bartender. What's not to love when dropping by for a fun Happy Hour. Happy Hour specials are delicious down to the house salad with fennel and we are having a hard time not ordering a cheesecake slice after our Happy Hour cheese pizzas. BTW, the gluten-free crust has just been elevated and is must try

Square peg is the place to be for any ages! My little brother came here and he loved the pizza and my parents loved the food and drinks! As a young adult I love it here too. The servers and bartenders are very attentive and the drinks are great! Highly recommend for your next date night spot

The service is terrible. The waiters are a bunch of college kids who huddle around the bar and talk to each other. Our waitress checked on us once after the food was served. By the time she finally came over we couldn’t even get desert. Took her forever to come back with the check so we had to go up to the bar and cash out. Of course she was fooling around with all the staff up there! The food is good but it’s not worth spending 3 hours there for a cheese pizza.

I wanted to second what Benjamin said about our meal. This was my first time at the restaurant and Alyssa was patient and so helpful with picking something that would work with what I was looking for(I am super indecisive). She was also super kind and energetic and made us feel welcomed. I would definitely come back and hope to receive her help again.
