I have stayed at this hotel twice now, and both stays were very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and competent. The breakfast is free, and better than your standard free hotel breakfast. They have a happy hour at the bar from 5-7 with $5 beer. There is plenty of free parking. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The location is close to the highway, with multiple restaurants within a mile. Hotel is quieter than most.

We stayed here over the past weekend, and overall, our experience was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near the school where my son was playing at and is also close to the airport. Additionally, there are several restaurants and fast-food options just a short distance away.

The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, offering a variety of hot and fresh options to choose from. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable enough for all of us.

However, the only downside to our stay was the bedding. The beds were quite firm, and the pillows were excessively soft, making it difficult to get comfortable. Even when using two pillows together, my head would sink to the mattress, which unfortunately resulted in a poor night’s sleep. I hope the hotel considers upgrading the pillows in the future, as it would significantly enhance the guest experience.

My mom and I we made a pit-stop in Tucson because we were going to go visit Douglas, Arizona for a few days. Technically we don't like driving at nice and since I used to be a Marriott employee, I was able to get an employee discount at the all-new Springhill Suites by Marriott Tucson at the Bridges. We got there after 7:30 PM and we were able to check out the property. Gina (The Front Desk Supervisor) checked us in, and she was so friendly and wonderful. She interacted with my mom and I. We truly loved the property and the inside part of the hotel. Our room was very nice, and we were in Room 223. Loved the beds since they were comfy. Best part, the hotel LG Flat-Screen TV showed my name "Patrick" on the TV and that was super cool part of the Marriott Bonvoy Channel. We got a really good night's sleep, and we were there at the breakfast the next day. ||The staff was very nice, and they greeted us with warmth & hospitality. They all deserve the praise and recognition for going above and beyond. In fact, I actually know the general manager Edward Alvarado and so I want to thank him for EVERYTHING he has done for me and my family. We greatly appreciate it, and he has the excellent tremendous service that you can ever imagine! (Fun Fact about Edward): His sister went to school with me at Douglas High School at Douglas, Arizona and her and I we both graduated in May 2017. The breakfast staff was amazing and so friendly & kind. We love the breakfast selections, and we also love the oatmeal too. The oatmeal was amazing and so good. Also, the fitness center was pretty cool and we loved the layout of it. ||In conclusion, My mom and I we had a wonderful stay! We wish we could've have stayed longer but we are hoping that we can definitely come back again soon and hopefully we can check out the swimming pool since this first go-around we were there for 1 night. We truly recommend this hotel! We'll be back! This hotel is awesome, and the staff is upbeat and very kind.

Oh my goodness I LOVED these rooms. Breakfast was very good and great selection. Room was just slightly noisy with traffic and the kids in the room above us. Nothing the hotel could fix. Just wished they had a hot tub for us golfers that would love a good soak after 18 holes of bad golf. Lol
Staff are super nice too. Will keep this hotel in mind next time we pass through.

So unnecessarily bad, and it’s Marriott’s fault for the design. Never ever in the history of “suites” did a place actually need a suite, as in a bedroom with a door that closes (which it does not have). Why? Because the door latches SLAM into the latched position like a 5 pound hammer on metal…does not matter how you try to close it slowly, a spring HAMMERS the latch into the closed position, so loud, even my white noise unit did no good. So, you hear every. single. time. anyone in your whole hallway comes or goes, including housekeeping. AND the rooms are laid out such that 4 doors are clustered together only 2 feet from one another, so there are 3 other LOUD doors *right outside* your door, NOT “down the hall,” so you get to hear everybody talking as they come and go too. I’d have been happier sleeping in my car. Then there’s the couch. Why do we want “suites?” So we can have a comfortable couch or chair, right? The couch was just a trundle bed disguised as a couch, as the sitting surface was 2 feet deep, IMPOSSIBLE to sit upright in unless you are 7 ft tall with legs so long, so you haul all your bed pillows over to the trundle “couch” to put behind your back, but it still isn’t enough. So, folks cram a full family, with kids, into these rooms, right outside your door. Breakfast featured POWDERED eggs. I should have gone to Holiday Inn Suites. I will never do Springhill again. Shame on Marriott.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Per the front desk, it is a franchise that opened 1.5 years ago.
Location is convenient, close to I-10, Costco, Walmart and many eateries. There’s only 1 street entrance to the hotel that is not well situated, with no lighting, a small sign and easy to miss. Nothing screams “entrance” or “lobby” from outside the hotel; there is no appeal or inviting atmosphere. The hallway in front of the elevators is small, with the bench making it inconvenient.
The room is spacious, toilet is a good size, and there is a decent-sized seating area and couch with a trundle bed. The wall-mounted television is poorly located; if you turn it to face the bed or couch, it would block the way. The TV was also annoying because it kept on buzzing when on. One of the bedside lights was burned, the drawers did not close well, and the writing desk had many black marks. Mattresses have no support (feels like it was used for 10 years) and pillows were extra soft. Worst of all, the toilet sink was not draining so we reported it and was told there is no maintenance on Sundays, but that an order will be placed to have it fixed on Monday. We were very surprised that a hotel does not have maintenance available every day. Unfortunately, we also found two spiders, with one crawling under my daughter’s pillow.
Breakfast is complimentary and variety was not bad, but we wished they had more options that didn’t include sausage. The quiche was full of butter that it was separating from it. The potato tots were undercooked and crunchy on the inside. The waffle batter was very thick, and the waffle came out dense and hard. They do not have a bread slicer. Their tea selection was not impressive and they only had 2 types of coffee, bold roast and decaf. Seating area is small and the breakfast area would shut down immediately at closing time or sometimes 2 minutes earlier. They would turn off the lights at the breakfast area and put a closed sign, so those who are running late to breakfast barely have a chance to gather some food. Staff members would grab food while guests were still eating, which is unprofessional and should be done in the kitchen area after breakfast.
Except for one lady, the staff at the reception desk were not all too friendly. We didn’t feel a warm welcome from them. Staff at the breakfast area, as well as the housekeeping staff, were friendly and helpful.
The hotel has one or two meeting rooms, a pool area, a gym and outdoor seating. The pool is small and standard, not heated, with no jacuzzi and no nice landscaping. We enjoyed the advanced equipment at the gym. Clean towels and a water dispenser are provided, but we did wish they had a sanitizer dispenser and sanitizing wipes to clean equipment between each use.
My husband requested from one of the front desk staff if they could change the payment method and charge the stay to his Citi credit card rather than Bonvoy credit card. The lady stated she could and took his Citi card to charge on. A few days later, he received 2 separate bills, one charging the full stay (about $800+) to the Marriott Bonvoy card and another charging the stay at Springhill for 4 nights (about $700+) to his Citi credit card. Apparently the lady my husband dealt with did not know what she was doing and charged us twice. My husband called Springhill directly and was told they have no record of the second cost and that they could not help us. My husband had to call both Marriott Bonvoy and Citi customer service, and we are still in the midst of trying to get this resolved.
In conclusion, this is a place that we would not recommend or stay at again. We chose this place because it was a newly built area of Tucson and we read reviews that the hotel is fairly new. For a hotel that is not even 2 years old, it is already overused and malfunctioning. It was cheaply built; their furniture and towels are below par, and their front desk staff are not properly trained. It is a shame and not the standard of a Marriott. The only advantage it has is the proximity to eateries, gas and groceries.
