Stayed here because it was near my office. My room had a cracked toilet bowl cover fixed with caulking, peeling tub, towel bar falling off the wall, and motel like bedding. The gym was a joke, zero bonvoy recognition. But hey, at least they hat a west elm sofa?

Staff is incompetent. I stayed at Springhill Suites Portland Hillsboro from Nov. 24-26. I was traveling with friends, a married couple. We were staying at this hotel for the last leg of our Oregon trip from California. The front desk charged my debit card $12.00 for parking when I did not even have a car or give them vehicle information. My friends had made their room reservation and I made mine separately. We arrived together in the car they rented at the airport. My friends were charged for parking. I did not discover the charge until November 30 when I was going through my bank account. I looked at my emailed invoice and there was a charge for one of the nights for "daily parking", I immediately called. The person who answered (Gracelda) said she would take care of by reversing the charge and would send me a new statement. I trusted that she would take care of it. Days went by and I decided to check to see if in fact the $12 had been reversed. It had not! No email either. I will cut to the chase and let you all know that after finally getting a $12 reversal Sunday, December 8th in the evening, I then woke up to a $24 charge to my account the next morning. In the end, I made 7 phone calls, spoke to 6 different people until finally got the $24 reversal/credit to my account...15 days after I checked out of the hotel! Oh, and I forgot that I also made a phone call to my bank this morning, December 11, because when I told Maria, the supervisor, that I still had a $24 charge on my account and NOT a credit, she told me to take it up with my bank. Unbelievable!

Stayed here for a business trip. The location of the hotel was good. There's several restaurants very close by and a Winco if you forgot something or wanted water for your room as opposed to paying for the $5 bottles left in as part of the kitchenette.
My only knock on the hotel is that there isn't a housekeeping service performed each day.
They do have breakfast on site, which should be good for most.
The staff was friendly and courteous.
I see that some reviewers commodore about the cleanliness of the facility and rooms, but that was not my experience.
I would stay here again. It's quiet and not expensive.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing from the moment we arrived. We checked in late at around 3 a.m. with three children in tow, only to find that the toilet in our room did not work. The hotel staff informed us that the only other available room had the same issue. This left the five of us with no choice but to use the lobby bathrooms, which were in terrible condition, every time we needed a restroom—regardless of the hour. Imagine dragging kids downstairs at 4 or 5 in the morning just to use the bathroom. The next day, we informed the staff that we couldn’t continue our stay without a functioning bathroom. Instead of offering a solution, they told us that because we booked through Expedia, we wouldn’t be eligible for a refund. This left us feeling trapped in a city we weren’t familiar with and a hotel that couldn’t meet our basic needs.Eventually, we were moved to another suite, but the toilet in that room also didn’t work. I have videos clearly showing that the toilet didn’t flush despite being empty. The worst part of our experience was the utter lack of customer service. The manager never once apologized or even acknowledged the inconvenience we were experiencing. When we went downstairs to change rooms, the manager actively avoided us, refusing to make eye contact, which only added to our frustration and disappointment. Overall, this was one of the most stressful and unacceptable hotel stays I have ever experienced. The lack of functional facilities, the poor condition of the public restrooms, and the indifferent attitude of the management made for an incredibly unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.

The breakfast is very mediocre; they only serve waffles on weekends, which is the busiest times, and only has 1 waffle maker... don't recommend eating breakfast here.
Additionally, they only have 1 printer, and it breaks often; if you plan on staying here extended.... don't. The only way they can email invoices is by printing it, and re-scanning it in.
One of the rooms I was staying it, I could literally feel the springs in the bed, even though I'm in a King Suite for seven (7) weeks for business. They finally moved me to a different room. Housekeeping is great, so nothing they can do.

We lost power during the big storm that hit Sat 1/13/2024. Lots of ppl without power and Springhill Suites had a couple rooms left. We ended up staying 2 nights and we were happy with our stay. Diane, Mariah, and Maria were all gracious and helpful. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were popular. The free breakfast was filling. Self service laundry was nice. The fitness center is kept clean and tidy. Overall, it was a good choice and we would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

There was only 1 staff at the front desk and she was on the phone helping the other customer. Hence, we were kept waiting for at least 15 minutes. ||The hotel exterior looked good but lobby was outdated, very old style decor and looked dull. ||Room was spacious but very old style decor, dull color. Carpet looked dirty. I am sensitive to dust and I itched quite a bit after I got into the hotel room. The air-conditioner is the very noisy type when it was running. ||We stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott at Beaverton which was far much better: modern, stylish, clean , good service. Rate for the 2 hotels were basically the same, I would definitely not going back to SPRINGHILL Suites.
