Meand my wife stayed there for a week to attend a conference. Clean rooms, pool and hottub worked. Decent hot breakfast. 13 minute walk to the convention center. The shuttle service was a nice touch. They will pickup or drop off anywhere in a 2 mile radius. Plus trios to the airport.

If you are expecting 5 star hotel experience then this place isn’t for you. Spent 5 nights during a world championship taekwondo tournament with my grandson. We chose the hotel for a number of reasons, one being close to the venue where we spent most of our time during our stay plus it had small fridge and microwave which was convenient due to our lengthy stay and tried to avoid eating out as much as possible. The hotel could use facelift, the pool was actually quite nasty. The front desk employees were very polite and accommodating. I had to ask for our room to be cleaned and for fresh linens. Security in the parking lot could be improved. Overall we got what we paid for and if needed I would stay here again if no other option was available.

The rooms are nice and spacious. They boast a fridge and microwave, which not many hotels offer anymore, so it's great to help save a little money on food. The room that I was in, smelled weird, something I could overlook, I guess, because eventually, I went nose-blind. The beds, however, are not very comfortable, they actually caused me to have hip pain. One night I noticed that I was sleeping in a groove. The worst part was the linens... they just smelled unclean. They seemed clean, but they didn't smell clean, if that makes sense? It's like they're "washed" in only hot water, no soap, so the musty people smell is just stuck to it. I tried to have them changed, but housekeeping only stops by every other day. Perhaps some bleach, if nothing else, can be used to really clean those bed linens. The towels were fine, location was within easy walking distance to downtown Phoenix. Breakfast is just... ok. Overall, the value is decent, but they can improve.

I would not stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend. My company booked 2 rooms at this hotel for my colleague and I. The rooms smelled bad and were not clean. I kept my belonging in my suitcase because I didn't want my things on the surfaces in the room (even after wiping with Lysol wipes). Front check in clerk was nice. She did switch one of our rooms as both rooms smelled bad. Bad smelling room on 3rd floor. Bad smelling room on 5th floor. We just "stuck it out" for the 3 nights that we were there.
The sofa sleeper in my room was covered in what looked like dandruff (Not really sure what it was) I snapped photos as proof. Even when housekeeping came to service the room on day 2...she/he left the flakes on the sofa sleeper. Too gross.
The fridge in my room was frozen over.

Positive: The room was large and updated. Negative: They only clean rooms every other day. And the one day during our stay they did clean they took all our dirty towels but didn?t replace them with clean ones. Had to call down to front desk for all new ones.

Stayed here just one night, in town, for the Green Day concert. We had to change the name on the reservation, and the staff went above and beyond to make check-in as smooth and quick as possible. room was impressively large for a standard double queen room. with a ridiculously comfortable West Elm sofa couch. It's only a 12-minute walk to Chase Field, so we opted to walk to and from the concert. The lobby has a mini-mart-thing where we bought waters and Gatorades after the show, very convenient.

We stayed here during Thanksgiving weekend 2024, and we were not disappointed.

The free breakfast here was not your typical continental (i.e., bagels, toast, muffins, orange juice, etc). However, the selction here was amazing (scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon, assorted fruit, and bread. Take note, the chaffing dishes were always replenished.

Elisa, Daisy, Evelyn, and Leah and the entire staff made our stay even more memorable.

As we were halfway home driving back to San Diego, my wife suddenly remembered that we may have forgotten our valuables in our room.

She quickly called Springhill Suites and spoke to Daisy, who took our information, then immediately contacted housekeeping.

Daisy called us back and confirmed that our valuables were locked in a safe. The next day, we made arrangements to have them FedEx to us regardless of the amount.

Two days later we received our package. But most importantly, our valuables were returned to us intact.

Thank you, Springhill Suites Downtown Phoenix, for your professionalism and honesty. We will definitely stay again, great job and BRAVO to everyone!

Well, the rooms are clean. My company gave me a virtual card to come here. Never had a problem at other chains. Here, not only will they not take it, but they could not be more apathetic or unfeeling about the fact that you are stranded in a strange city. Chains like this get so big that they literally do not have to care how they treat people.
