We enjoyed our stay here. The Spark had been renovated was very clean, beds were extremely comfortable and breakfast was adequate. The breakfast bar had cereal, yogart,fresh fruit, bagels, juices and coffee plus a waffle iron. There was plenty for a light breakfast. The only complaint I had was the shower curtain was too short and the faucet in shower was loose. The desk clerks were pleasant and helpful. We were playing Volleyball at the Civic Center it was a short 20 minute drive. We will definitely stay here again. Reasonable rates and we felt safe , as our party was two women and a sixteen year old girl.

This was my first time staying at a Spark. I expected something similar to the Tru line and it was similar. The room was clean but lots of little things added up to be a less than normal Hilton property stay. The AC worked but the thermostat was off, had to set it to 66 to get the room cooled. It wasn't 66 but that's the setting that worked. The TV menu was in Spanish and I never figured out how to get it back to English. There was a iron but no ironing board. The toilet seat was only anchored on one side so the seat moved. There's no way this wasn't obvious during clearing. The lights in the room were just off, you basically had to turn on all the lamps individually just to get enough light to see. The front desk and hallways were very dim, bordering on dark. The sheets had piles and needed to replaced. At breakfast, there was only 1 waffle maker and there was a line. We didn't wait but at 3-4 min per waffle it would have taken 20-30 min to get one. The coffee was warm but not hot. None of the 3 employees we had contact with were friendly. They were not rude, just indifferent. Neither online check-in nor digital key worked for this stay. None of these things alone would have been an issue, they just all added up to a negative stay.

There were some good things. The room was very clean, it was very easy to get on/off the interstate and the price was good. The bed was comfortable. We just needed a place to sleep and have a quick breakfast and the hotel was fine for the need.

There is a Hampton at the same exit and I'd stay there if passing thru again even though it would a bit more expensive.

I wish we knew the hotel was under construction. When we arrived, I walked in and found unpainted drywall, a construction vehicle in the lobby and no one behind the front desk. I walked out thinking I had the wrong hotel; one that was closed! When I verified I was in the right place, I walked in farther, and the front desk clerk asked me if I was looking for someone. She checked me in and admitted the hotel doesn't check reservation requests until the customer checks in. I had asked for extra pillows, a 2nd or 3rd floor room and gluten free breakfast items if possible. She laughed and at least got me a 2nd floor room. When I took a shower in the morning, I noticed a used soap on the shower shelf. The bathroom had no hooks for clothes, no towel racks or hooks to dry towels, no hair dryer, and no phone to call the front desk. I went to the desk to get a hair dryer. Only the front and back door of the hotel were accessible. We took the stairs and they were covered with drywall dust and workers were working on the entire first floor.|I am glad that the hotel was not expensive. It just would have been nice to know it was under construction. The breakfast selection was good for my husband.

Contrary to negative comments on this site from others' experiences, our experience was great. Our room was nice. It was quiet, clean, no odds, no bugs & was recently remodeled. The AIR/Heat worked great. It's close to interstate, gas & food. The hotel offers a continental breakfast of cereals, pastries, oatmeals, yogurts and breakfast bars with a waffle maker & boiled eggs and an assortment of juices & coffee. The rates were exceptional for a Double Queen Room with Microvae, Coffee Maker & Refrigerator for 1 night.

Killed three roaches in my room. Random ladybugs in the hallway. No insulation so you can hear all the screaming children in the room next door. Still mid renovation, and I was in the room right next to the stairwell so I am huffing paint fumes all night. The Hilton App said that it had a business center and gym. Neither existed.
I asked to change rooms but apparently they were already overbooked. People at the front desk were not slow, they just didn't know what they were doing. Took 10 minutes for the person in front of me to check in, as the staff had four people looking at one computer and trying to figure out what to do.
Apparently I stayed there the first night it opened, after it was a converted from a Best Western. It should be called a Worst Eastern.
Pay the extra hundred dollars and stay anywhere else or even sleep in your car over staying one night in this hellhole.

Mike at the front desk was very kind. He gave us great customer service! We had issues from the very beginning and he was able to calm me down and help me settle my issues. I will definitely be back to this hotel just for the service we received!!! Thank you Mike!

Started with them sending me to a room that was already occupied ( not a big deal I can see how that can happen). Upon entry into a non occupied room I went to put my perishables into the fridge and it had someone else’s food in there and the fridge had been turned off, it stank real bad. I called down to ask for a new fridge only to be told they didn’t have any “extras” . I had to ask repeatedly for them to at least come and clean it which they did. Then we had stepped out for lunch and I put the do not disturb sign up, when we got back some of my things were moved and there was a pile of drywall dust on the floor next to the outlets. I confronted the front desk about it to which I was told no one had entered my room, I found out later it had happened to 2 other guests ( we determined that they did some cable work)we were staying for a hockey tournament. I asked to speak to a manager but one was not available during our 3 day stay. I asked for his contact info, I reached out but no response “shocker”. There are many options in the area, for your own sake try somewhere else.

ROACHES! Within 15 minutes of checking in I saw 5 in my room, 2 in the hallway by the elevator. Room was not cleaned well-chips and debris in the carpet, hair in the bathroom. We did NOT stay here. Employee stated they have monthly pest control visits, but was not all surprised when I ask to cancel my stay.
