What a wonderful place! We just loved our stay at this historical B&B in Fredericksburg! Everything was clean and well kept. The Room had beautiful furnishings and was very private. Our room had all we needed and checking in was hassle free. Ample parking out front and the neighborhood was very safe, quiet and we had a nice easy walk to the downtown Main Street for all the festivities during Oktoberfest. But the best experience was enjoying breakfast with the other patrons and visiting with our host Kathryn. We had a yummy homemade gourmet style breakfast in the community sunroom and it was such a wonderful way to begin our day! The garden area surrounding this hone was beautiful. Just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay & how convenient its location was to everything. Would definitely stay here again. You can tell that they really take pride in their B&B. Very friendly and hospitable- made us feel very welcomed!

Had a wonderful experience at this B&B! My husband and I stayed in the Clara's Cabin, which was very spacious and absolutely loved the rustic decor; the king size bed was very comfy. There's a fridge and lovely fireplace that makes for great to cozy up in front of on the couch and sip some wine. My husband surprised me with on of the packages offered, providing a bottle of wine, chocolate dipped strawberries and flowers with some candies on the side. Was great for a romantic weekend! I loves staying in the Clara's Cabin, the only (and I mean only tiny issue) was the hot tub was really nice but it was set at a certain temperature so we couldn't get it to be any hotter. But other than that everything was great! We were so glad that this B&B actually served breakfast, I was disappointed in the past when staying at other places and their version of the breakfast was a meal voucher to a restaurant. Kat was sooo nice and made the most delicious breakfasts; we were there for when she made the amazing corn bread and belgian waffles. There wasn't anything she made I didn't like. =) Plus the couples in the other rooms shared breakfast with us, which made for some enjoyable conversation. If one stays at the Clara's Cabin, there's a covering area for one's vehicle. Really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return if in the area again!

My husband and I stayed at Southern Charm during spring break weekend. It was our 12th Wedding Anniversary. We enjoyed this quaint little hideaway. We had the pleasure of staying in the Sienna. The room was small and nostalgic. It reminded us of homes we visited as children. Breakfast was a southern treat and we appreciated the wonderful hospitality. We recommend southern charm if you’re looking for a traditional B&B.

An awesome 3 days experience during my Birthday Weekend at The Southern Charm Lodging Bed and Breakfast! Believe me the name of this B&B definitely describe the host, Ms. Cathryn "Cat" and Mr. Dentist, they have the warmest and fun southern personalities topped with extraordinary southern delicious cooking! Our Victorian Southern Suite reminded me of my grandmother southern home! We were so comfortable. We met some great people during breakfast who were guest at the lodge (three lodges on this property). My daughter and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend a stay at The Southern Charm Lodging Bed and Breakfast in Fredericksburg, TX

We stayed two nights at the Southern Charm B&B. Our room, the Siena suite, was small compared to the other two accommodations on the property, but when we reserved it was the only room available. The price was good compared to other B&B's in town. The other two rooms, including the outside cabin, are much larger and quite nice. If you need more than a place to sleep we would recommend booking one of the other rooms. Location is close to town and quiet. Breakfasts are large and delicious (note only served at 9AM). Also no wifi. Our host was congenial and interesting.

We had 2 couples, and rented both rooms of the Harrison House, which has two bedrooms, each with their own bath, and a shared space for hanging out. We had a wonderful stay. Kat is a fantastic host, with plenty of information on the local areas and people, as well as her own stories. The breakfasts were INCREDIBLE, and the location is extremely close to main street and attractions. There is an enclosed 4 person hot tub, too. They are opening a larger property soon, so it will be great to stay there at sometime. We'll definitely be back!!

This place is surprisingly Great. We had the Victorian Suite and was Way Bigger than we expected and the Softest Bed you will Ever Sleep On. It's like Half a House. Saturday & Sunday Morning Breakfast here was not only Delicious but a Beautiful Presentation of Food. Uniqueliciousness at every Breakfast. Our stay at southern charm was a disappointment to say the least. The bathroom was not cleaned properly with prior guests’ hair all over the floor and toilet seat. This trip was planned by my husband for a surprise birthday trip for me. We have a son and prior to our arrival I was unaware about the no children’s policy.

We made sure our son was respectful of the room and other guests in the vicinity. When he began to cry or make noise we made sure to comfort him so it was not constant and disrupt other guests. When we arrived to breakfast with our son, the owners husband spoke very disrespectfully to us about our son. He was extremely rude about our child being present. It was so upsetting we had to leave that day. We had another night booked but we could not stay after being treated so horribly. It was overall a very disappointing experience.
