This was the best food in the state! Loved the train car and the service was awesome. Our server was so kind and attentive and told us all the history of the place. It was amazing. Get the pie!

Glad I found this spot. Ordered 3 piece catfish came with gumbo, brown beans, crinkle fries and hush puppies, and salad bar. Washed it down with sweet tea. Excellent food will definitely be stopping back in when I’m back in this area

The Southern Bell is a passenger train car originally from the 1800s. The experience was very delightful and full of history Our waitress Leslie was amazing and all I can say about the food is we were ready to start making a review at the appetizers. My husband had the chicken fried steak and he’s a very picky man about his chicken fried steak and all he could say is it’s delicious. I had the taco soup which is 40° day in April so it was very fitting. We made sure to pin it in our favorites on the map all I can say is if you’re in The area you have to stop and dine. Heavener, Ok.

Love the cute train car. Food was good. Their rolls were so good we got a dozen to go! We both had the chicken fry. It was really good. We brought dessert home. Little Debbie Christmas Cake Cheesecake and Oreo Cheesecake. We'll eat that later at home.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Southern Belle Restaurant! The food was hot and fresh, full of flavor and good to the last bite! It was prepared and delivered in a fairly quick amount of time, and the service was great! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The dining room is inside a restored passenger car of the Kansas City Southern railroad from days gone. If you’re a train enthusiast or just looking for a good meal, stop by and give them a try! I should’ve stopped in years ago. I will definitely be back in the future when I’m in the area.

Great find as we traveled down the highway! The name appealed to us but the restaurant in a restored 1905 train car was just as good as the food. I had Deb’s Special (delicious chicken strip & perfectly fried fish strip), sweet potato & salad bar. Salad bar was fresh with lots of choices & the house dressing was also their special dipping sauce for the fish (yummy good!). My wife had hot beef sandwich and it was moist & tasty with rich brown gravy. Her green beans were flavored with garlic and very good. Try this place out, you’ll have a great meal!

We loved eating here. I got the catfish fingers and my husband got the Southern Belle fried chicken. Both plates come with 2 sides and hush puppies and roll. Our food was delicious!

The salad bar was used as one of our sides it was delicious too! Fresh produce, wonderful dressings, pasta salads, etc. Great service and food in a very charming rail car.
