Excellent place to say. I wanna give 5 stars. Entire front staff and the breakfast preparation staff and the morning free breakfast is excellent. Whatever I asked for I received immediately extra linens. Condiments, you name it toiletries, etc. The only things I would consider to be not as happy as I thought. The rate I quoted was more than expected, and they charge $5 a day for parking. And I thought parking was free, and those are relatively smaller things. Perhaps I didn't remember the pricing I was quoted the place that I stayed in is just like a studio apartment. They make wonderful pancakes. And the scrambled eggs are great. And once again, I'll send another review. Naming the entire staff. The fitness room is not exactly up to my par. And from what I see most of the places I stay in have similar type setups, and I was able to work out every day in peace. Again, all of the staff in the front area and breakfast area we're excellent. I would recommend this place to anybody, and the location is also good.

The WORST! Only a 2 hour window for breakfast and they do not put enough food or drinks out to serve the guests crammed into the dining area. They are under staffed and unprepared. They didn't have plates, utensils, or napkins most of the time They are extremely slow to refill the food and drink are very quick to pull and remaining food right at 9 am. It seems intentional as a cost savings method. Additionally what limited food they do put out is HORRIBLE quality and usually still frozen. Barely human grad edible.

The sink was cracked and didn't drain. The shower made a loud whining noise. The toilet doesn't flush down for even pee. Their was NO soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Each Container was 100% empty. Then after being in the shower naked and wet finding out that issue existed, when they finally come to refill, they didn't refill the soap. So frustrating to not be able to get clean in a shower 2 days in a row. Additionally the TV didn't work. I called the front desk and they couldn't send anyone to resolve it bc they couldn't leave the front desk.

There isn't any housekeeping. I had to go to the main building to even get new towels and bed linens. They don't make the beds up so if you stay multiple days be prepared for that lack of service.

I would give this place a zero star if I could. Apartments 1324 is full of cockroaches. Informed the office about it, they said they sent the maintenance guy to spray the apartment when we were out. Surprisingly, when we got back we saw more than two alive including a bigger one.

I honestly regret booking this place; I could no longer sleep after seeing all those insects alive. I saw 4.1 stars out of 5; I thought would not be bad, but I made a huge mistake.

Also, the cleaning crew does not do a remarkable job. I found dust and multiple dead cockroaches on the kitchen floor. Dirty and stained carpet. They didn't even bother to vacuum the carpet before we checked in. I couldn't use their pots to cook something for my family we had to eat out. This place is so disgusting with inaccurate website pictures.

It's not worth it waking up early to eat breakfast because it's not tasty.

If you don't mind sharing your place with cockroaches, go ahead and book this place. If you do, then do not because you wouldn't enjoy your stay here. Don't let the 4 stars fool you, this place is dirty.

I have not even finished my stay here and I have decided to write a review because my experience has been awful. There is weird activity going on throughout this property and it simply does not feel safe. I was told my unit would be one of the quiet and private ones, but I have not been able to get a wink of sleep. The walls are paper thin and I can hear the neighbors watching TV and scream-fighting on another. I think there must be some sort of drug-related activity going on. Do not stay here if you value your sleep. It has been a complete waste of my money.

Just to start off the staff are the only positive thing about this place. They were really friendly and clearly doing their best with what they have. I am convinced this establishment has serious upper management issues due to the fact that the rooms have not been kept up, deep cleaned, or managed well in anyway. The first room we were given had a dirty carpet, an old dirty sofa and an off putting smell. Once we opened the sofa bed there was crumbs, dust, trash all over it, it was clearly dirty and had not been cleaned in who knows how long. Honestly there's more but I feel like it's not worth my time. We ended up getting another room which smelled like animal urine and had a disgusting carpet. Dirty cabinets. Completely uncomfortable stay. Definitely not worth the price. Pictures online are highly inaccurate.

I selected this hotel because it had good reviews and the location was convenient. I have to say that this is the first time that I write a review for a place where I would not stay again. We reserved a studio with a sofa bed (for a family of 3). From the time we opened the door the smell of pet/urine was overwhelming and gross. There was dog hair on the sofa bed and around the bed, and carpet stains. The sofa bed had not been cleaned and was dirty when we pulled out the mattress. I think it's probably used commonly as a pet bed. I had to ask for sheets for the sofa bed because they were not in the room. There was no hair dryer in the room, not sure if they have in the reception. Breakfast ran out of coffee and they never replenished it. Also, they charge $5 for parking, which I did not know and was not expecting in Tucson. The kitchen has full size appliances and is convenient. They should really consider replacing the carpet with tile or vinyl because it is gross. If you don't need a kitchen, stay at the Embassy Suites next door.

We arrived with some trepidation, after reading some of the reviews, for a 4 night stay and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel showed full on all the booking websites so we arrived early yo get the best room, we were welcomed by Andy, a very nice guy, who gave us a choice of rooms with some suggestions which were the best ones to take. We were given a room upgrade to a loft, a big room which would sleep 6 people perfectly well. To be honest the room was a bit dated and the carpets a bit stained but overall the room was nice and clean. The rooms are exceptionally large having a full kitchen, including oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dish washer (no tablets), the aircon and ceiling vans cooled the room very well.|The breakfast was very good, I am not sure what other reviews complain about with a grab and go, there was a good choice of cereals, bagels, toast wraps, pancakes and hot food, along with some fruit and the usual coffee and hot water. Perfectly adequate for a good start to a few days sight seeing.|The hotel is on a main road but we didn't hear any noise and perfect for Cabino Canyon, Mt Lemmon and Saguaro East, all within 10 mins drive, the other major sights of Pima Air Museum and Titan Missile are a little drive but the road system is quick and efficient.

My family of 4 stayed in room 322 at the Sonesta ES Suites in Tucson, Arizona, from 12/25/24-1/1/25. Unfortunately, we were disgusted by the filthy conditions. I reached out to Sonesta Guest Relations, but they simply referred me back to the Tucson location, and my attempts to contact corporate were unsuccessful. Below is a list of issues we encountered during our stay:

Walkways stained and littered with trash.
Sticky railings and stairways covered in hair and lint.
Dead bugs on window ledges visible from outside.
Stained carpeting, including dried white substances and possible blood.
Sticky interior stair railings.
Sticky kitchen cabinets and dirty interiors.
Ceiling fans covered in dust.
Popcorn ceiling dirty with grime.
Torn window shears.
Dirty toilets and bathroom floors with hair.
Moldy shower caulk and dirty kitchen table.
Stained couch, pillowcases, and towels.
Refrigerator interior was dirty.
Broken alarm clock and closet door.
Front door didn’t close without slamming.
Hot tub was brown and pool murky.
Laundry room filthy with dirty machines and floors.
Garbage was never emptied.
Hot water ran out after two showers.
Breakfast ran out early and was not replenished.
Food server wore only one glove.
The only positive aspect was the layout, which could be ideal for a family of 6-8 with major improvements. Our trip, which we had planned to enjoy, was completely ruined by the unsanitary conditions. We were told all rooms were the same, and our attempts to address the issues, including cleaning the carpet, resulted in only a moldy smell and partial improvement.

I believe upper management should experience this location firsthand to understand the discomfort guests endure. I also wonder how anyone at Sonesta can be proud of this property, as it goes against every principle of hospitality.

I request:

A thorough and personal response to all issues raised.
A full refund as acknowledgment of the distress caused.
Contact details for a corporate representative to send photos of the conditions.
