I visited Something Sweet Inn while in town after it came highly recommended, and overall, it was a solid spot. Be aware that their hours can be a bit unusual—there was one Saturday I wanted to go, but they weren’t open. Thankfully, I made it back another time and was glad I did.

The menu had a good variety, so everyone in our group found something they liked. I went with the Bigfoot Burger, partly because I’m a Bigfoot fan and partly because it comes with fries on the burger. It was huge, hearty, and honestly a bit too much—but in a good way. The fries were better than expected, though not the best ever. Someone else in our group got sweet potato fries, which came with syrup to dip in—not something you see every day.

We all left super full, and a few of us couldn’t even finish our meals. The pie looked tempting, but none of us had the room to try it. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to offer to-go boxes when it was clear we’d need them. Overall, a good experience with solid food and great service. I’d go again.

I love this cafe. Everyone talks about the Friday catfish dinner. It’s always packed. The bakery is awesome. People drive from long distances to dine here.
