Lucky random stop! Delicious and we’ve encouraged anyone heading that way to stop. My pork chop was remarkable! Everyone enjoyed their meal. It’s 16 hours from us and still crave it!

So, as I'm driving down to Florida for Thanksgiving Day weekend and my birthday celebration, I come across this amazing restaurant. I live in Midwest, Georgia, and this is the land of Southern cuisine and barbecue. Smokin' Pig is definitely one of the best barbecue restaurants I've been to since my move to Georgia. The St. Louis ribs were incredible, and the brisket was tasty. The salad bar was plentiful. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was amazing. My serve, Michaela, rocked it out!

You can’t put Texas Brisket on your menus and serve it like in the picture. I suspected something was off when he put the brisket in a deli slicer to cut it.. sliced like a French dip.. 0 bark, fat not rendered at all, chewy, was like pulling apart rubber bands.. very disappointed. And the wait as very long..

The only complaint I have is our food must have sat under the heat lamp for a while because the pulled pork was one more minute away from being beef jerky, it was really dry ,my Cole slaw was very warm 🙁

The portions are a lot I had leftovers for dinner last night , the onion pedals are amazing the fried pickles were delicious 😋 the food was amazing and the atmosphere is great! We will be back , loved the farm fresh produce 😋 and the honey comb blocks plus the restaurant is so clean. Our waitress was very friendly and down to earth.

A favorite stop for us for many years whenever we travel from Atlanta to anywhere in Florida. Always great southern food including a great variety of smoked / BBQ meats, great side dishes and a wonderful salad bar. Top it off with self-serve ice cream for dessert, friendly, prompt service and reasonable prices and you can't go wrong. They must be doing something right because it looks like they are expanding the building to serve more people. At mile marker 22 on I-75 north in Valdosta.

Return visit on 4/5. Confirmed a great first half travel itinerary from Atlanta to Orlando driving South on I-75... Leave home at 7:00 AM and miss the heavy traffic south of Atlanta. Make normal time driving and arrive in Valdosta at the Smokin Pig at 10:55 AM just in time for their opening at 11:00 AM!!! First in line at the salad bar w/ dessert. Another great lunch with a brisket sandwich, fried okra and collard greens!!! Great service from Nadalynn and were ready for the rest of the drive. Great way to start a spring break vacation.

Traveling threw Valdosta Ga on my way home.Stopped at Smokin Pig BBQ. Got a beef sandwich and bannana Pudding. Went straight to my truck after getting food . Meat on sandwich was dry and cold. The bannana Pudding was off the chain delicious!! Great atmosphere and plenty of parking. Overall for a $12 sandwich I expected more.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What really made the night special, though, was our server, Ruby. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her upbeat attitude added to the great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!
