Smoke Seitz - Johnstown, Ohio

Heard about this place recently and decided to visit same. The truck is located at the corner of Route 62 and Duncan Plains Rd NW, They were just opening when I arrived. Met one of the owners Miranda who was setting things up. It took a few minutes but we talked during that time. They have just started doing the Food Truck, they own a Catering Business (Smoke Seitz BBQ), it has been in business for around 10 years. They do a variety of meats as shown in the picture. Today they had Brisket and Pulled Pork as they have been on vacation. Got a half and half of both meats and cheesy potatoes and a drink fo $10. Both meats had a nice smooth Smokey taste to them. Meats were nice and moist. Pork was nice and stringy which made it easy to consume. Brisket was chopped up and a little chunky. You can have the meats on a bun which is optional. The cheesy potatoes were totally off the chart. Everything was homemade, it had small green and red peppers, onions in it and then baked. Could have ate a ton of these. Had a sampling of the coleslaw which was of the creamy variety. It was nice and smooth, perfectly seasoned. Talking to Miranda was a pleasure, she is a totally involved owner. She is experimenting with some new recipes. Hopefully we get some new items on the menu. You know that the business is totally dedicated to succeeding since they are just down the road from another bigger BBQ joint. Me, I will definitely be back to try some more of the menu.

Was truly a pleasure to work with Cory and his wife! We had an event recently and Cory was so professional and patient during the planning process. He seems to be constantly working events. So if you don't hear from him immediately, don't worry! He was definitely on top of it. He delivered the roasted pig on time and even made sure everyone could enjoy it before serving it. They do all the clean up so the host does not need to worry about a thing! On top of it, the food was amazing! Everyone couldn't stop complimenting on it. I would highly recommend using them for your next party!

Smoke Seitz catered our party for 50 in May. We chose the tailgate package, which included pulled pork from a whole smoked hog and side dishes. Every bite was absolutely delicious!!!!! We were so impressed with the taste and quality of the food. Corey and Miranda were so nice and so easy to work with. We highly recommend Smoke Seitz to cater your next party!

First time diner, incredibly impressed! Down home feel from the truck personnel, two owners so knowledgeable and PROUD of how their meat is sourced! Local, never frozen, from a well-known farm!
Pulled pork was delicious, ribs look awesome (sandwich was huge, ribs were relegated to snacks for later)! Cheesy potatoes were fantastic and worth a return visit for those alone - hubs loved the BBQ beans, and their coleslaw is DELICIOUS. PLEASE VISIT!! Brisket is next on our try list!

Every time I have stopped here, the food has been amazing! I highly recommend Smoke Seitz!
As a custom, hot sauce producer, I frequently try different places for bbq, to use my hot sauce on and post to my business FB page. This stop is always looked forward to.

The BEST pork roast in central Ohio! I trust Cory to cater my two kid's graduation parties and my annual Buckeye tailgate. The quality food and quality service keep me coming back.

We just had 1/2 rack of ribs, brisket sandwich with beans and cheezy potatoes. It was excellent. I will spread the word. Worth stopping for lunch or dinner.
