I'm extremely disappointment with the services 01/11/25. I received from Simply Celeste's. It was quite embarrasing,unacceptable and fell far short of my expectations. My husband's 80th Birthday Celebration. Event time 4pm-9pm. On this date Celeste informed me at 3:27pm via phone conversation "I woke up feeling sick this morning and had to seek medical attention. I will not be able to attend the event. Not to worry my staff is enroute to the venue and they will do an amazing job ".Needless to say 2:30pm was the time agreed upon to arrive at the venue. There was no reason for the event to be delayed. Celeste had more than enough time to make the necessary changes to keep the party on time. The first server arrived nearly 4pm. She arrived with absolutely nothing. No tables were needed the venue furnished them. Although, she had no tablecloths, no items for displaying foods or utensils for enhancing the setting. I had a table set for gifts and treats. I quickly broke down the table for the servers to setup for the buffet. I left the venue. The other two servers still hadn't arrived. It was 5pm and the table still wasn't set. I paid for 50 guest, 47 were total presence. Four guests were served food on dessert plates vs dinner plates. I was so embarrassed I felt like leaving the room and not returning. I was told by the staff servers they had ranned out of large plates and are going to the store to get more. All the utensils, butter, corn muffins (so hard you couldn't cut them with a knife). All these items were in dinner plates part of the table setting. Green beans were not fully cooked and the asparagus were overcooked. Mashed potatoes were cold and Mac n Cheese was salty and too much cheese. Zesty herb chicken and fried chicken was warm but reasonably good. The cheesecakes were delicious. I wasn't happy with the table display especially the cheese cakes they literally placed them on the table in the original plastic packaging they were unprepared. The staff should have been able to come setup without any issues. All this reflects on Celeste. Seven of our guest had arrived and witnessed all the choas. I spent a large amount of money to be exact $3,552.00 to be disrespected and embarrassed. I deserve better than the services rendered. I reached out to Celeste on two occasions via email asking for resolution. Letting her know that she hadn't met her contractual obligations. I feel some portion of money need to be reimbursed. Celeste did answer the first email and has made it clear to me that she has absolutely no intentions of giving any type of a refund. The second email has been an avoidance she's not responding. I'm hopeful she will reply.

My biggest complaint about my experience working with Celeste is the inability to book your date with a deposit until every detail of your event and menu have been confirmed. I worked with Celeste for 3 weeks as we planned a private dinner together. One week of that was me waiting for her to send the initial proposal via email. I finally had to reach back out to her and was able to obtain it. We worked over the next two weeks to finalize every detail of the five course meal. Once that was complete, I had to wait on another email from her with the details on how to submit a deposit. It's not until you send in the deposit that your date is actually locked in. Not even 48 hours after I finally receive the email with the invoice and payment information, Celeste calls me to tell me my date has been booked by someone else. Unfortunately, the date of my event wasn't flexible so I just wasted 3 weeks of planning and had to start over with another chef. The only reason I provided Celeste with two stars instead of one is because she provided me with a recommendation for the chef I ultimately went with for my event. I understand Celeste has a business to run, but I think there are process improvements that can be made so that not only do her customers have a positive experience but so do all of the potential clients who interact with her.

I am a habitual cheesecake customer of this company. Best homemade cheesecake in the valley hands down. I have also watched her prep and prepare catering dishes. She is very sanitary and follows all of the CDC and food handling guidelines. I trust her in my kitchen and you should trust her in yours. I send all of my friends and family to her for personal chief and catering needs. She never disappoints. Book her today!!

You can tell they know what their doing when it comes to catering private dinner parties. The food was excellent and my guests enjoyed the personalized service. Celeste is great. All of her food is great. I have done 2 corporate parties with her. Both times we had bagged lunches, and everything is so fresh. My all time favorite is her strawberry lemonade.
