The presentation was stunning, the flavors were out of this world, and the staff was all so kind and professional.
Kim was an absolute gem! She invited us for a tasting to get started before booking, and had two others cooking our tasting menu in front of us. They were all so wonderful and listened to everything we went back and forth with on the menu.
If you are considering Sierra Bonita, just book them. You won't be disappointed!

We had hired Sierra Bonita Catering before, but on a much smaller scale for dinners with 10 - 12 guests. Always pleased with their catering fare, I called Kim Hopper again for my most recent party. This one on a much larger scale, we hosted an outdoor dinner party at our home for 75 guests. Kim came over for a consult once we set the date to see the venue and to help me make decisions on the location of the serving tables and bar; suggestions for timing during the evening and general guidance on the flow of the party. With her vast catering experience, her advice was invaluable: on the amount of alcohol I needed to purchase, number of appetizers to serve a large crowd; serving suggestions; just what I needed to have the confidence our party would be a success.

The menu was outstanding and delicious. Many guests hoped the southwestern green chile beef Stroganoff was my recipe because they were hoping for the recipe for themselves. The coq au vin chicken was so moist and tasty and the short rib polenta bites a huge hit as an appetizer. The Sierra Bonita Catering staff was most professional and went about their duties quietly and unobtrusively throughout the evening. The bartender knew her drink recipes. The specialty drink for the evening a prickly pear margarita went over (and down) very well.

The party was really fun. I was able to relax and enjoy myself appreciating that Kim was there to oversee the details. I was most pleased and credit Kim Hopper and her staff for making it a memorable evening with outstanding food, a smooth-running schedule and a clean home when they left. Thank you, Kim.
