We live in Short Creek and absolutely love it! The Water Canyon hike is beautiful and ends up at a canyon wall with a natural spring coming right out of the rock. There some wonderful little cafes in town that offer plenty of options in addition to our marketplace that offers a salad bar, extended deli, sushi, hamburger joint, coffee & sweets bar, a wine and beer bar upstairs with bar food... the list goes on! The people are friendly. Side by sides and horseback rides are common tourist activities here. We have eclectic airbnbs, glamping, & hiking. We are within an hour from Zion and 2 hours to Lake Powell and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We have a cute little RV park that rents for a month at a time. If you want to experience the beauty of Utah and Arizona at the same time, this is it! Short Creek is the name of the community that spans that border... namely Hildale UT and Colorado City AZ. The red cliffs create a stunning backdrop to this beautiful place!

Quaint little town with big surprises. The hidden gem in Maxwell canyon is a wonderful place to relax with the family, or take selfies for your Instagram. Ideal for a small wedding venue. There is also a free water filling station. Best tasting water in all the land! Just take Utah avenue all the way to Maxwell park. Take a left at the fork.

Short Creek is what the towns of Colorado City and Hildale were called before 1953. Because part of the city was in Arizona and part in Utah, names were chosen and the border street of Uzona was made. So, Hildale is in Utah and Colorado City is in Arizona.
