Super popular. People were in and out for takeout the whole time we were here on a Wednesday night. Food was great, I only remembered to take photos halfway through our meal because we were so excited to eat!?

The house-made sauces were great. They had 3 options, tomatillo, spicy, and avocado based. all three were delicious.

I love the street tacos here. But I got the carnitas and it was definitely good! You can't go wrong with anything here. I would come here compared to the other places in town.

This is going be my new spot.
Salsa is good and queso is really creamy and delicious. They have a lot of different birria options, and it's really good. Plus they have Mexican coke!

Thoughts

My husband lovesssss Mexican and we ate at a few restaurants in this area and disliked them. This place made me want to go on our favorite Mexican restaurant page and tell them they have a strong competitor in North Alabama.?They should also be very afraid and thankful they are one to two hundred miles apart. Great food and to say otherwise would just be me being picky. Please give them a try. It has an authentic taste that feels like it was passed down through the generations. Awesome job.

Round 2: 12/17/23 UPDATE
I have always wanted to try the Quesabirria combo and low and behold it was great. This place just never seems to disappoint me in the taste department. We went back to our hotel room but after tasting those, I went back for seconds. They were fresh, not too heavy, and pack with layers of flavor and textures.

I recommend anyone in Decatur for travel to give this small food truck a chance. Don’t let the size fool you here folks. I don’t know how many more months we will be here but this will be my regular spot for tacos.

Manager: I would take away from the cashier who was a bit rude because I had no idea if toppings came with the chicken and rice (which was also good) and she assumed I was supposed to know that. However, the previous sentence is not something I would nitpick at but it would be alarming if it happened regularly. I’m just going to say it was a long day for her and she wasn’t able to perform according to your standards. Just know that moment would have been a great opportunity for upselling.

May be small but mighty‼️ Food is amazing because the owners care what they serve! We enjoy eating in instead of take out because the service is great. Margaritas are sooo good! Everyone should try this place as soon as they can! It will be you last place to try because it will be the best ?

Worse tacos I've tried and the taste on the meat felt old come on ppl buy better tortillas for the tacos!!!! at least get Milagro tortillas! for better taste at least put salt on the asada or some

Serrano’s is the best Mexican restaurant in Decatur and the surrounding areas! Outstanding customer service and the food is prepared fresh as ordered and very tasty. Come out and experience you will not be disappointed. I have supported Serranos’s since the start of the food truck, now I get to sit inside at the Bar and enjoy!!

Ordered 16 meals for our employees here at Cook’s Pest Control in Decatur and gave them a time that we would need them done by for pick up. They made sure everyone got their order right, and bagged each meal separately. Everything was well organized but most importantly the food was delicious and their churro bites were good too!!! definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
