Neat little hole in the wall. Run down and out dated, but a neat little clean place. The room we were in had a full kitchenette with a little fridge, 4 burner stove and it slept at least 4 comfortably. 1Q, 1Full, and a couch. Full bath. Parking is limited but they don't mind if you park in the grass either which is still very close and not inconvenient at all. Owner has some very beautiful plants outside that are very vibrant and pretty. A very short walk to a private beach area made it very nice and relaxing to be there. They are not huge, I think they probably have around 13 rooms. I was pleasantly surprised that this quaint older building was as comfy as it is. Don't expect fancy, but it definitely feels homey. Cute litte mom n pop place. The kitchenette was small but worked Just fine. Good space, and the BED was AWESOME! Pillows were great also! Clean. Smelled a bit musty with the windows closed. Had access to a great beach!! Fire pit we can use. Several gas grills for use, it was really a cute nice place. A couple rooms are pet friendly. I do recommend. As you can see, good rockhound beach.

Increadible value, right on the beach, my doggy is allowed! (best if you call and book directly 😉). Neat and tidy, but very lived in and a little worn around the edges, but so perfectly comfy! Little fridge (stocked with 6 eggs and butter for breakfast!), stovetop, microwave, coffee maker. The owners are very attentive. This is such a wonderful place that I will come back as soon as I am able. I am so happy my friend recommended this little gem.

Great easy access location close to the Redwoods and toes in the sand of the Pacific! Private nicely manicured lawn with bbq leads you down a vintage walkway to your beach. Loved the retro efficiency, it was clean, spacious with very comfortable mattresses. Everything you need with nice touches like eggs in the fridge and pancake mix if you wish to cook. Just wished we could have stayed longer!

Secluded section of beach, easy access, great views

Room has some nice amenities (full kitchen, cute decor, nice sheets) but has seen heavy use and it shows (leaky faucet, missing floor trim for example)

This is the best place to stay on the coast that I have found so far. It is an older family run, boutique establishment. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and decorated with loving care. Feels like a home away from home. The room I stayed in had a sitting area divided from the sleeping area by a screen wall, small kitchenette with fridg, microwave, and toaster oven, as well as the sink and stove top. The living area had a couch and recliner, flat screen TV, also a 4 seat table and chairs. Queen size bed that was great to sleep on, with nice lavender sheet set. The building sets at the front of the property, but I never heard the traffic on 101. Behind the building is a large yard/garden area the goes to the bluff over the beach. There is a stairway down to the beach, but the bluff is a great place to sit and watch the waves or sunset. It is located about 12 miles south of Brookings OR, and about 20 miles north of Crescent City, CA, both cities offer dinning, shopping, etc. I hesitate to list this place because I love it, but I don't visit that often and will just have to make a reservation in advance next time if it gets really busy. A great place for a family or a romantic couples retreat.

Such a great place to stay. The property has private beach access which is perfect for families or romantic stays. So cool. They have BBQs out front so you can picnic in style. The lack of people on the beaches is what I really love. Inside is clean but old. I thinks it's has a unique feel to it though.

You can't beat the views from this place, with a private walk down to the beach just a few steps from the door. It's simple, but they go the extra mile to make it comfortable and enjoyable: eggs in the fridge, a well-stocked kitchenette, comfy beds and bedding, everything clean. It's quiet and feels safe. We were without Wi-Fi for a while, but we just played cards and such. Also, the shower door is a bit precarious because it opens right into the corner of the sink ha ha, so be wary. A great stay!
