This was my 7th stay at the Inn . There is no where else I would want to stay. The rooms are lovely, decorated beautifully with all the amenities you’ll ever want. Every room has a mini fridge to keep your drinks cold. The beds are so comfortable with freshly ironed linens. It’s so quiet and relaxing, there’s a well stocked pantry to pick up anything you may have forgotten or to grab a free cup of coffee to enjoy in the atrium. Richard the owner is so friendly and knowledgeable. He will tell you all the best places to visit and eat . If you’re in the area this is the place to stay. 5 stars for sure.

This is a beautiful, warm, cozy place to stay. The outside entryway is lit up and inviting. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, the bed was sturdy and comfortable. The staff/owner was super nice; it is a small, independent business so I had to call a few times to reserve a room but he got back to me and was very cordial. I would recommend to everyone, you won’t go wrong if you are just looking for a place to stay overnight!!

Quaint, private, comfortable, and quiet… everything we were looking for to celebrate a special birthday! Scioto Inn is wonderfully located downtown within walking distance to dining and shopping—unique, small businesses. Safe downtown area and very walkable. Must try Pequenos Tapas Bar!

Wife and I stayed in Urbana for two nights and wanted to stay somewhere a little unique. This little hotel is ideally situated near the middle of town, within very easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants and cafe's. The owner, Richard, was very responsive to emails and extremely helpful while we were onsite.||The Inn is very clean and well decorated with art from local, Ohio artists. The historic flavor to the Inn has been kept and has a small-town feel to it. The front of the building is a nice welcome as you enter through the front porch and enclosed public seating area. Our room was 203 at the top of the stairs.||The room was very well appointed with a comfortable queen sized bed, a modern bathroom, sitting area, small kitchen area, and a back porch/sitting area. Unfortunately, it was just too cold to sit outside, but would have been a nice touch in the warmer months.|| Within the room there was more than enough room to hang coats (being December in Ohio!) and more than enough room to spread out. The kitchen area had a nice seating area, small refrigerator and sink, along with space to store some dry goods if we would have been staying longer.||The Inn is very quiet, comfortable and well appointed.

I stayed in one of the midsize suites while in the area for work. It was absolutely charming! The self-check-in/check-out worked very well, and the community pantry was well stocked. The cost is very comparable to the only other hotel in the area, and is within walking distance of several local restaurants that offer a delicious menu variety. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in the area, which is usually 2-3 times per year.

Fantastic inn with antique decor and all the amenities you could want. We stayed in the basement suite before starting a road trip the next morning. Faint footsteps could be heard occasionally early in the evening, but the bed was quite comfortable (and high) that nothing disturbed us. Husband was quite impressed and already wants to visit again.

I’ve been coming to the Scioto inn for a number of years now for an event I go to. As much as I enjoy the event, staying at the Inn is also the highlight. The decor is amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location, right off of downtown makes eating and shopping very accessible. Booked the rooms for next year. Excellent choice if you have group and need a few rooms. Thanks to the Inn keeper for making us feel welcome

The Inn is so beautiful and comfortable. Upon arrival of our stay we were treated to a tour of the inn and the cottage. Each room is decorated in beautiful antiques and have all the amenities that you need. The speakeasy lounge was perfect for our gathering, Richard (the owner) was a wonderful host. The inn is located within steps of The Monument Square district where you can find lots of shops, restaurants and the brewery. You won't be disappointed.
