Best value in a weekly rental I've ever had in all of my travels. Clean room with modern amenities mixed perfect with the nostalgia and history of a vintage vibe. Staff is super friendly and well spoken of by everybody I've spoken to about where I was staying in this quaint little town. Will definitely stay here again.

Everything went great! Nice little family that owns and operates it. Rooms are very clean. Price is extremely reasonable. And it was quiet. I can’t ask for more than clean, quiet, and great value. I will be staying here again!

I have been staying here for a total of 3.5 months for work. It is a family owned business and I have found the owners to be friendly and personable; and have been treated with complete respect during my stay. The rooms are mature, but clean; and my room has been serviced and supplied with new clean towels daily. The weekly rates are the most reasonable in the area and the customer service is top-notch. The environment is safe, which is important to me in regards to the security of my truck and tools. I will definitely make return visits and would recommend The sawmill in to anyone, but especially to workers like myself wishing for an extended stay in a friendly place

Not a good place at all!! (Do not waste your money here) there is a nice little motel 7 miles north of Hennessy in (wakomis) called the country inn ..rates are about the same,the place is (much nicer).(DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY STAYING AT SAWMILL RENTALS IN HENNESSY!!!

We stayed here about 9 years ago (with 2 small dogs) and found it to be old but acceptable (clean,in reasonable repair, and comfortable).||||So, when we needed an "inexpensive" place to stay for one night (7/3/19) in this same area, we booked this place again. I was shocked at how rundown this place has become. The best I can say about it is the sheets were clean and the towels appeared to be new.||||The tub looked stained and filthy, and there was mold on the tile in some places. The light fixtures were full of bugs, there were small frogs in the room, and the bed was like sleeping in a tent pitched over tree roots.||||I felt contaminated just sitting in the room (and I live on a farm).||||We won't be staying here again. Absolutely terrible. We spent $60+ for the one night which I consider absolutely outrageous.

Love love love this place!!!!! The owner is a great woman! The rooms are cheap and clean. Considering other places there are 100+ dollars for a room. She took our service dog with zero issues and from now on when we go by here we will be staying! Check them out, you won’t regret it!

I don’t see how this motel has a high rating than 1. When we walked into rooms carpet was from 60s and all torn up. Beds were not comfortable. I was scared to step into bath tub because of stains and filth. Took 5 days to get room cleaned and get new towels and tp only because i had to say something. Manager came beating on my door at 1130pm while I was asleep to ask me if some trash that was outside was mine. Overall real bad experience here. Left early and got my money back and went 10 miles down the road to a much nicer hotel called Country Inn.

good room with great service. the owners did everything they could to accommodate me and my crew while we wer staying ther for work. will definitely be staying there again
