It is a very nice, comfortable, and quiet place to stay. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Also, the best pool/spa. My kids loved swimming! The only downside would be the TV needs updated (no streaming services).

I have thoroughly enjoyed my two night three day stay at Sawmill Creek. The staff has been outstanding, the room is comfortable and I slept like a baby. We enjoyed a group dinner at The Millers Table and it was one of the most delicious dining experiences I have had in a long time. The food was so elevated and deeelicious!! Beautiful Resort.
Only thing is it doesn’t have a Spa or Gift Shop.
Doesn’t take away from the 5 star rating because the employees were amazing! The Space and grounds were beautiful and the rooms were clean.

We found the property lovely. I can’t imagine how beautiful this is in the summertime. The hotel service was amazing.

We had dinner at the resort. The food was amazing, really amazing, although the service was not all that impressive.

Unfortunately, the thing that will likely keep us from returning is the fact that after a busy day and a wonderful meal, we look forward to some relaxing time at the pool pool and Jacuzzi. There was absolutely nothing relaxing about a space full of unmanaged screaming children. Young parents today seem to put little thought or effort into managing kids.

To me, a golf resort would be a place that caters more to a adult clientele. I have no issues with people bringing kids along on vacation. But maybe when the location is more an adult destination, there could be time set aside early in the morning and late in the evening for adults to enjoy the amenities and find some pleasant relaxation. Maybe two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening that are solely for adults.

The room was large and very clean. However, the king bed was not very comfortable. The mattress was lumpy and well worn. The rest of the facility was spotless and all staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at the Miller's Table was excellent! Breakfast at the The Harvest was outstanding with many hot and cold options. We would definitely go back.

I have been visiting Sawmill Creek Resort for at least 15 years for Ship Wrecks and Scuba. They have done a great job of hosting the event. It seems to have gotten even better under the Cedar Point management. We stayed at the resort twice. Both times have enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and nice. The bed was comfortable.

Lovely resort! Beautiful spaces in the lobby area, looked like a nice indoor pool (and there's an outdoor one when in season, too). Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and clean when I arrived. Loved that the restaurant was still open (Miller's Table)--and what a great meal (Braised Short Rib was DELICIOUS!) Service there was outstanding, too. I stayed here based on a recommendation from a colleague---so glad I listened to him. I'll definitely come back to Sawmill Creek if I have an overnight or extended stay for work in the future.

Have stayed at Sawmill on multiple occasions and its always very clean. The staff is fantastic!! My daughter realized she left her favorite stuffed animal in the room as we were unpacking, and the staff located it and shipped it to our house complimentary......Thank you for the amazing service!
