Staff were pleasant, location was super easy to get to, and restaurant and bakery were great! We stayed in the founders suit which could use some updating, but was otherwise great to stay on (spacious, full kitchen, laundry).

It was nice stay, wish they had a later than 10am checkout. The decor (carpet, paint, elevator) are all past due for freshening up. Beds were okay, need new pillows.

One thing that we found disturbing, it was late on Friday night we were with our daughter by the fireplace. On the way back to our room we stopped and requested an extra blanket. They were right on it, to the point when we were walking the hall to our room one of the clerks told us he placed it on our bed....there was no one in our room and we had items left laying about; that was a security scare.

I booked a room at the Heritage Inn because my wife and I have camped in the Sauder Village campground for years. The little lake adjacent to the campground provides awesome fishing. We’ve sold our camper/big truck, but I wanted to fish the lake. Sauder welcomed me to fish the campground lake as a hotel guest. |I had never stayed in the Inn before. It’s an absolutely beautiful property. The front desk folks were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I had booked a double queen room. It was enormous. Adequate TV for the size of the room, dorm fridge, ironing board/iron, large patio door onto a little patio area (I was on the first floor) looking over a vast field, large bath with its own sink, separate/additional sink area. No room safe or microwave. Free Internet was more than sufficient to stream my programs with no buffering. Bed was pleasantly firm, pillows were firm, NOT the type that collapse around one's face to suffocate. ||Meal service is offsite, across a large parking lot. The hotel was quiet despite a number of families with kids using the indoor pool. As campground guests, we had used the pool in the past. Really nice indoor pool and hot tub. Even on this trip, it never seemed to be crowded. Maybe a dozen people, tops. I had no disturbances. Ice machine was close-by behind double-doors that blocked sound (I was in the room closest to the ice machine, I heard nothing).||I booked two nights. Unfortunately, because of an issue with my elderly mom back home (4 hours away), I had to leave after the first night. Sauder Heritage Inn refunded my second night without me requesting it. They just automatically offered/granted it, for which I am very grateful.|Class-act that Sauder Heritage Inn. And, again, the hotel is beautiful. Looking forward to going back without mom-drama so I can fish that lake of there’s.

First time I've stayed here and love it! Rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is lovely without being pretentious.

I planned a one day trip over my granddaughter’s spring break. I wanted to take her to Spangler Candy World in Bryan,OH. I decided to make it an overnight trip when I found the Heritage Inn to stay at. The Inn was perfect for our party of 3. The Inn is very nice. Very quiet and clean but it is their off season. Sander Village does not open up until May 1. We had the indoor pool and hot tub to ourselves which my 7 year old granddaughter loved. There is a game room that had ping pong,pop a shot, and other like games. The continental breakfast was included and it was very good. Eggs,sausage, variety of pastries, cereals,bread items,juices and of course coffee and tea. I would like to stay here again and go during their Village season.

Have been coming here for 25 years or more and always love it here. Don’t like having to check out by 10am, though.
