Good location.
Walking in the smell was bad. At check in, they charge a $60
no smoking/no pet deposit. Our room was very hot, the thermostat did not work, the lamp didn't work and a roach was crawling on the toilet. Keep trying to call front desk, continued getting a busy signal. We go down to let the front desk know about the air. They moved us to a different room/floor. The TV was larger but the remote didn't work. Bathroom was very dark and it had a burned out light. The wallpaper at the elevator control panel was in bad shape. Would not recommend.

Terrible.. like, one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. First, the pictures online hardly look anything like the room. The pictures online have cute, matching, clean, decorated rooms. Our room had stains on the bed, no complimentary anything minus TP and hand soap.. which are basics. Which was really unfortunate because we were traveling and needed toothpaste and shampoo. AC sucked. We had to call down a few times while there because we couldn't find a few things. Example: room booked for 2 adults, had 3 pillows on the bed. Etc. Anyway, the lady we spoke with over the phone was not super polite. The guy wasn't much better. Almost seemed put out we were there. On top of all of that, when we finally got in that night we were exhausted, but had paid online ahead of time so we thought we were good. Nope. Randomly was told at the last minute that there would be a $50 deposit. Obviously that wasn't cool because we weren't told ahead of time and thank God we were fine financially, but I couldn't help but think about people who aren't so lucky.. We were too tired to argue so we paid it and went to bed. When it came to checking out, we left our room around 6:15-6:30 and walked down to the front desk... normal time for someone to be behind the front desk you'd think.. but no, no one was there. We rang the bell because it said if no one was out there then we need to ring it. We waited and waited- no one came. We finally just left the keys on the counter which is not secure. Just an overall terrible experience at a hotel. Yuck. Spend the extra $20 and find something clean and accommodating!

Hotel was horrible. Booked a room for vacation and when we arrived the lady said she needed more time to clean the room so we left and went and got food. Came back a hour later and checked in. Literally went upstairs for maybe 5 mins to examine the room and it was so disgusting. There was hair in the beds and all under the sheets. The bathroom was a mess and the shower was beyond dirty. I grabbed my things and checked out. They offered another room but if the entire 3rd floor was dirty why try again. I wasn’t even reimbursed some of the money I paid for the room I didn’t stay in. I will never recommend this hotel for anyone to stay in so everyone take this as a warning. Staff wasn’t considerate in their approach about the situation either. Never again

Very nice place! High ceiling in our room. Very modern decorative design. Nice tile shower with a seat. Very comfortable warm blankets and beds. Cold AC. Good amount of recessed lights in the ceiling. The only things I didn't like was that the faucet in the bathroom would spray everywhere. Side note, there was a girl working the front desk at one point who would just sit and talk on her phone while working. She answered the phone very rudely. Never smiled. Just very unfriendly customer service. No problem with other workers though.

Was a really great hotel for a great rate. Only spent 1 night, but the beds were really comfortable, and had a good breakfast, before we headed out again.

The hotel is very pretty but the staff is not keeping it well maintained. All hotel staff was in regular clothing, they had no uniform so you did not know who was an employee or who was a guest, I only saw one front desk lady wearing a name tag and still not in uniform.
Our room was very nice but toilet was old with an old and stained seat cover. Bathroom cabinet was missing a drawer and sink did not had the hole cover cap. Bed sheets were a little stiff and the flat sheet had a hole like if it was bitten by a rat. The door key kept on getting jammed all the time also. Towels felt OK, they seemed clean and soft enough to use.
My mother had another room, bathroom was in better shape but again missing the sink hole cover, her TV was not working so we called the front desk and they changed it then about an hour later we noticed the floor carper soaking wet right in front of the a/c, it was like if someone had dropped 2 buckets of water so we requested to change room which the staff did right away. We asked for a roll-away bed for my son and the blanket they brought was hard and stiff, my son complaint because it felt like sand paper so we had to ask for a new one that was a little softer bit not that much.
The complimentary breakfast was OK, they had bagels, toast bread, croissants, waffles (from the frozen box), cereal, milk, orange juice and mini cinnamon rolls with coffee. The only thing I noticed is that breakfast is from 6am to 9am but staff started picking up the breakfast items at 8:50am instead of 9am.
Overall this is a very pretty and modern hotel but staff is not well trained or don’t have the knowledge when it comes to maintenance, they should all be wearing uniform as part of a hospitality industry.

Best value for the boat they don’t have a current sign that says the grand Savannah so it’s right across the street from the Applebee’s definitely a place. I will send my friends and family to go to for a quick stay really nice price.

Don't be fooled by the independent name and low rates, this is actually a great hotel. This place pays attention to detail, which is what makes a stay away from home more tolerable.

The mattresses are soft and extremely comfortable, the room has ice cold A/C, the bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, and the furniture has a nice modern feel that flows with the decor.

Our two queen room was relatively huge with a fridge, microwave, desk and chair, and a sitting area with two cushy seats and an ottoman. Also, the wifi always has a good strong connection.

Really nice place...the price just makes it great.
