not greeted upon entering. took 15 minutes to take our order, after over an hour we never received food and just asked for the check for our drinks and she still tried to charge us for the food WE NEVER RECEIVED!! no apology and was hanging out behind the bar eating food from the kitchen,.. beyond disappointed!!!!!

We came in at 12 and left at 1:30… this happened earlier today, 3/23/25.. we’ve been coming here for years and have never experienced anything like this, hoping you can get some better staff!!

This place is a family favorite in our house 🏡 it's just around the corner and the food is usually hot and tasty regardless of weather we're eating at home or at the restaurant. A long standing Cincinnati bar and grill with an excellent outside patio and fun and games inside with of room for the whole family. Definitely worth going to this restaurant for some quality time with your people or just yourself. It's never overly loud even when when it's popping. Enjoy 💯💥🦅🇺🇲

We love going to this place. Even my kids have been going since they were knee-high. Now they're adults. It's just a family place. Local people just down to earth. Good simple food.

The bartender is probably the rudest restaurant employee I've ever experienced in my life. Even though there were only four or five other people at the bar and she was literally doing nothing she still couldn't be bothered to help customers. When she did ultimately help I don't think it's possible to be more rude than she was.
On the other side, I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was very good.
If you do decide to go avoid, Karen at the bar and sit at a table.

I miss the great little bar from the 60's thur the early 80's . Food was 100% better. Always super busy back then. If you grew up in this area, you already know that that Salem gardens back in the day was a great restaurant/bar.

The food is always good here. The service and atmosphere, in my opinion, is all thanks to the bartender. I am not positive but believe her name is Nicole. My girlfriend and I are always excited when we come in and she is working because the service is great and the vibe is even better. She makes this bar fun and welcoming and that is why this place is a 5 star

Decided to stop here late after a concert because they were open until 1am and we wanted a quick bite. The place was actually quite cozy and very inviting. Once we were seated we were told the unfortunate news that the kitchen actually closed at 10pm, but the bartender was exceptional and said they could fire up a fryer for us as long as we agreed to a limited menu. We ordered some fried mushrooms, the peperjack cheese bites, and some fried shrimp. Both the mushrooms and the cheese bites were amazing, fresh, and delicious. The shrimp, while they give you a large portion, they are quite small. I personally would rather have larger pieces at a lesser quality. But they too still tasted really good. The bartender checked on us frequently and kept drinks coming. Was super polite and asked us about our concert. Overall I loved the place and we will totally be stopping in again when we come back down for another concert.
