I recently stayed at the Rustic Rim Hideaway and had a wonderful experience. The host was extremely friendly and very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

What a beautiful cabin! The location is great, the amenities were a surprise for a cabin. I wish the beds were more comfortable and there was a window unit for the summer months. Other than that, no gripes! We can't wait to bring our families with us next time! We enjoyed playing horseshoe and exploring. We saw a bear, blue jays, cute squinneys, and more. The stars were out and they were beautiful! The 3 bears Cafe in Heber was delicious for breakfast and we had Casas ramos for dinner. The owners made a folder with so much info inside so, don't skip it on the coffee table!

Very cozy and homey feeling! We brought all of our own towels, paper products-but they had it all (except food of course)! The cabin was very clean-they even started the fireplace before we arrived so it was nice and warm when we opened the front door! Our kids loved it and want to come back again! Very cute and cozy place to go to get away from the city life, even just for the weekend! We will be returning!! Thanks for a memorable weekend!!

This was a last minute reservation. Vicky and Curt were so kind to take us last minute. There cabins are adorable! Perfectly clean and it is obvious they are well taken care of with everything you could need. Just bring your own blankets. There are only 3 A frame cabins at a dead end in a forest setting. I forgot to take a photo as we spent a lot of time fishing at all the lakes. Willow Springs Lake was our fave and we cought some nice Rainbow. |And then back to the cabin for a nice warm fire and some shelter in place.

My family has stayed at Rustic Rims going on 5 years now sometimes twice each summer & we obviously love it. Vicki & Curt are amazing and they remember us every year when we call back to book our trips. We have stayed in all 3 cabins over the years, and have brought friends along several times that stayed in other cabins. All of our groups have been beyond happy with the cabins and service we receive every time. These cabins are rustic, but definitely afford you all the comforts of home while you're there. We haven't been able to get a winter trip in yet, but that will be next on the list. Thank you again and we will see you real soon!!

Beautiful, comfortable, rustic, adorable, fantastically relaxing, jolly good ole place to take the family! The owners are the most family oriented, kind, respectful, catering people I've ever met! We stayed in 2 bedroom dog-friendly cabin that had everything we needed! Wood burning stove kept us nice and warm in the 6° temps, and it was just an all around great stay! We actually had the PERFECT CHRISTMAS at the PERFECT PLACE!!! Excited to stay without the kids for a ROMANTIC get-a-way! !! Definitely recommending to all my friends & family. 5 Star plus from us!

We stayed here over a weekend so that our kids could play in the snow. The owners were great! They were very responsive concerning some issues we had with the freezing temperatures. The cabins were clean and stocked with everything we needed.

From the first time I stayed here, many years ago, I fell in love with everything about the place. First, there are only 3 clean, nicely decorated cabins so you can be assured of peace and quiet and privacy. The 2 bedroom cabins take dogs but all bedrooms are on the second floor. As I lost the ability to easily climb stairs, I moved to the 3 bedroom, which has one bedroom on the first floor, but no dogs allowed. All bedrooms have electric baseboard heat. Each cabin has a large porch, my favorite feature. I can sit there for hours watching the variety of bird and wildlife entertain me. The cabin is large with a full galley style kitchen, so easy to cook in and all dishes, pots and pans, bowls, anything you need, even wine glasses, are provided. The living room has a comfortable sofa and lounge chair with TV and wood burning stove. The dining table easily seats six or makes a great space to work a jigsaw puzzle. The grounds are kept up very well and the owners are the perfect hosts. If you want to go places, there are multiple lakes in the are for fishing, lots of hiking options, some ruins to visit or just go out for a meal in the small town of Forest Lakes - 1 full service restaurant and 1 cafe. I have been returning for 1 week every month during the summer and love every minute I am there. I leave feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the "real world" again. I bring friends occasionally and they feel the same as I.
