We are from Georgia and we love our BBQ. We decided to give this place a try. We had the BBQ Potato Skins and the Loaded BBQ fries for appetizer and they were amazing! I had the Pigee Chonga and it was amazing. I had the chicken and the smoke flavor of the chicken was great. The burger was great as well which one of my sons had that. The service was great from our waitress and the restaurant had many TV’s so we were able to watch our UGA Dawgs play the game as well. I highly recommend this place!!

First time here and we decided to have things we never tried before.
There's mine which was the brisket burrito. Wow! It's a work of art! Look at the pictures. I got mine added with beans and macaroni and cheese inside!
My wife had the deep fried version which was very good too. The white queso was delicious and just the right amount.
They had draft on special and in tall glasses. Everything was clean and the service was great. Friendly and helpful.
Parking is easy. The atmosphere is pretty good.

So, great food. Nice people. But when you order a 20+ dollar rib meal and you look at sauces, you can’t get there full selection unless you pay almost a dollar a small condiment cup. You can’t get all the sweet and spicy and Carolina gold. But, if you want there other 7 or 8 sauces. Ugh it’s gonna be about a dollar per small, little bitty condiment cup. That real cheap in my book. I’m sorry, but it takes one small hospitality thing in my book to make a place great. And charging for “certain sauces” is ridiculous. I won’t be back back on account of that. Way to be cheap skates. Wow! Blown away. Also, upon receiving my order. My ribs dinner was BARELY warm!!!! The Cole slaw was extremely warm, “YUCK” Who enjoys hot Cole slaw! And coincidentally, my green beans we not even Luke’s warm! I will NEVER visit this rip off BBQ place again. And believe me, I’m humble and take everything into account, hours worked, what day it is, and so on. This was pathetic and nothing short of it. They will not be in business much longer, with food and service and charges like this! I would rather go to MARKS FEED STORE ALL DAY! No up charge for sauces. Sides always fresh and prepared correctly. I’ll make the extra 7 min drive for a better experience.

Recommended by co-worker, easy to find, went in for late Saturday lunch, easy menu with a variety, server lady was very helpful, genuine and on point! I highly recommend; brisket meat was the best around, just right, no sauce needed, tender, moist and no fat, and the sandwich came with a side and I opted for potato salad, which didn’t disappoint, grilled kaiser bun and sweet tea and darker bbq sauce yum yum, two dined with tip for $34. delicious and good quality. multiple tvs in dining room and separate room with a bar. good clean atmosphere.
returned on a Saturday in September 2023. this place is just not what I remembered. companion’s plate had to be returned. then we waited at least 15 minutes for corrected plate to come out. meanwhile my food got cold. once i started eating my cold brisket i discovered about 1/4 of it was fat. service was friendly. i lowered my rating from five to a three.

Tried this place for the first time. Got it to go, my husband did not like his pulled pork. I got the deviled eggs, I had no idea it had shredded chicken in it or else I wouldn't have ordered it. The service was great and didn't have to wait too long. Just not to our liking.

We recently celebrated my sons graduation dinner here it was about 25 of us, the back room is perfect to host big party’s give you the quality time needs they even let me set up some small decor and bring in a cake . The manager made this so easy for me to set up got back with me quick and especially with me being so last minute, everyone was amazed with how delicious everything tasted not only was it so tasty it was affordable!! The server and service was great !! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place !!

My wife and I have eaten at Rubbin Butts several times and really enjoyed the food. Great menu filled with well-prepared classics and unique items. The Piggy Chunga is out of this world!

We stopped in about a week ago wanting to enjoy the great food again but left without ordering. The entire space is now wall to wall TV's and on that day the sports were blaring. To each their own, but we don't enjoy that type of environment. It's a shame, as Rubbin Butts was a fav.

When we want good BBQ with a good environment, we'll make the trip to Salem for Hog Wild BBQ or visit Big Ben's in Jeff.

Cute name good menu. Drink refills could be quicker. We sat at bar and was our first time there. Devil eggs were good. We shared sampler platter. They give you huge portions for price. Little on dry side but good. They also could set few other flavors out for the bbq.
