Saw some horror story reviews so I felt it was important to relay my experience, it's important to say this is written with a $95 a night price tag. Genuinely the hotel is very cleanly, the staff was polite and professional, the breakfast was basic but reliable and sensory safe. Beds were comfortable and the room came with microwave and a large mini fridge, free of additional charge. Overall if your primary goal is shelter and no frills, the Royalton is high on the list.

This hotel is unbelievably bad. The room was disgusting. The bathroom had dirt and and hair all over the floor and there was serious grime in the shower. It doesn't look like it has been cleaned in months. The bathroom ceiling has mildew and the paint is peeling off. There was dirt on the walls, half the fixtures in the room were broken in some way, and our window wouldn't close properly and bugs kept getting in the room. I didn't even shower and just slept in my clothes because of how nasty it was. The people running this hotel should be ashamed. Never ever stay here!

I don't quite understand the negative reviews, my lone complaint about this hotel is with the washcloth! It is off the main highways, very quiet and the parking lot feels safe. Yes, it's older, but my room was clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the chair and footstool !! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. (the washcloth was rough and when wet it oddly kept folding up in my hand)

Walking into the hotel felt like walking into the shining, the carpets were disgusting and it smelled terrible. When we finally got into our room we noticed stains on furniture, hair was on the floor, the dead bolt was ripped out of the wall, there was mold on the shower curtain, and it was very hot.

We initially didn’t bring our stuff up the first time, but when we did our key didn’t unlock the door. The front desk man must’ve been watching us on the cameras because he ran right up to let us in. When he was up there we asked for a new room because we felt unsafe. He offered to screw the dead bolt back in but the drywall was literally hanging off the wall, so that wasn’t going to do anything. We explained that to him, and got a new room. In the new room we experienced the same problems and the light didn’t work. Before we closed the door he came back over and started questioning and yelling at us because the bed was unmade in the previous room because we checked for bed bugs. He yelled at us because no one could stay in that room until house keeping remade the bed the next day. As two young adult women we felt unsafe because a grown man was yelling at us.

We asked for a refund, and he proceeded to throw the key at us and slam the door in our faces. We followed him downstairs to find him still screaming at the front desk. We tried explaining we felt unsafe in a room with no deadbolt.

Needless to say we left and went to the Holiday Inn. The man at the front desk told us this was a common occurrence at the Royalton Inn…. He also told us that it was a flop house and cops are regularly there. 10/10 would not recommend if you value your life.

This place is disgusting and completely falsely advertised. First the outdoor sign is whited out, the filth on the building should have given us enough warning to run but we thought let's go in a see if it's better inside. Nope.....filthy as soon as you walk in, the windows weren't obscured that is the amount of filth. We called before booking specifically asked if the pool and hot tub were open. They lied the hot tub was filled with rocks and potted plants. The breakfast area was dirty and out dated, the breakfast is packaged donuts.
We proceeded to check in and that's when it got even worse. We turned to go down the hallway and again we should have run. Have you seen National Lampoons European vacation? This place is right up there. The carpet in the hallways has inches of dirt along the edges of the hallway and the hallway was barely lit. We enter the room and it was gross, the sheets are all stained, bugs on the wall, the lights didn't work beside the bed, the carpet I don't think has been vacuumed ever, and there was dried toilet paper stuck to the wall in the bathroom. We did not end up staying, it was beyond gross. The smell will accost you once you enter. The pictures on the website are very outdated don't trust them.
They were very nice when we chose to leave and gave us a full refund.

We arrived late with no reservation. Paying with cash but they will definitely need your ID and they do accept cards. Rooms seemed very clean. TV didn't work properly but we believe it may have been the remote or its batteries. Had a small refrigerator & very small coffee maker with coffee and other supplies. Normal supplies also were available shampoo, soap, and lotion etc. The shower & heater sounded like they might explode definitely enough to wake you up every time it came on. Every room is a non-smoking room. We ended up in a room with two beds. We had plenty of pillows. I thought that the staff was extremely friendly. They also had coffee & tea
out front of the service desk with cream and sugar/sweeteners. We weren't sure if there was any type of breakfast available we weren't told. Very fair pricing, ice machines, vending machines, most importantly a pool and this location has a big parking lot both front & back as well as being surrounded by ample parking lot space. There are many businesses located near this hotel, including restaurants, Thrift store and fast food locations as well as being located near the freeway & a main road through town. I would go back to this location but not get the same room.

This Motel was much nicer when I stayed there 5 yrs ago. Now it needs total remodel & rooms are over priced @ $90/100 a nite. I would choose a Motel 6 over a Royalton Inn any day.

The Pix I'm posting were the 1st room I was given. I told owner I don't stay in rooms like this. Then I was given a better room. I wont ever stay here again.
