From the moment my wife and I drove up the cobblestone driveway at the Royal Palms Resort, it felt like we had been transported to another world. The towering palm trees and serene ambiance immediately set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable stay.

The valet team greeted us warmly and wouldn’t even let us touch our luggage—they personally escorted us to the front door and then to our room. For our anniversary, the staff went above and beyond to make the occasion truly special. We were surprised with a beautiful room upgrade, a platter of chocolate-covered strawberries, and a bottle of champagne. What stood out even more was their thoughtful touch—they knew I don’t drink alcohol, so they provided me with a non-alcoholic alternative, ensuring the night felt just as celebratory for both of us.

Dinner was exceptional, not only for the food but for the experience. The Chef personally came out to greet us and even brought a delicious starter as a special gesture. It’s rare to find that kind of attention to detail and care these days.

The next day, we indulged in treatments at the spa, and I have to say—it was a slice of heaven. My wife and I enjoyed incredible treatments in a private room, followed by some much-needed time to relax and soak in the tranquility.

Our mini escape ended on another high note, thanks to the valet team. They were so kind and thoughtful, leaving chilled water bottles in the car for our departure.

The Royal Palms Resort truly excels in creating not just a stay but an experience. Every staff member we encountered made us feel valued and celebrated. This wasn’t just a getaway—it was a memory we’ll treasure forever.

This is probably our favorite resort in Scottsdale and we’ve stayed at most of them. I love the character of this hotel with its rustic Spanish charm. The courtyards and fountains are beautiful and the staff is always kind and helpful. We told them we were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of champagne and macarons. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time staying at the Palms, although not the first time staying at a five star resort. We decided to escape snowy Canada and spend Christmas in Scottsdale and booking the Palms was the best decision we could have made. Everything is immaculate, elegant, and suited for a relaxing experience. ||||What I most enjoyed was not the cleanliness of the facilities, the friendliness and helpfulness of staff, the exquisite meals at T. Cook's, but how quiet the resort was. It is so rare to find a place where one can actually find peace and quiet and do your own thing.||||Our daughter didn't want to leave and is already asking when can we go back! It was a fabulous experience overall and I will not hesitate to go back.||||P.S. We were particularly impressed that the wait staff asked if we wanted to take coffees to go after breakfast without the need to ask.||||P.P.S. Make sure to make reservations at T. Cook's. It simply makes things smoother, especially if you're attending around a busy time of year.

Pretty nice hotel however needs updating. Lots of add on fees so be aware of that. Also require you to valet your car for $40 per night. When I got my rental car back there was some kind of grease all over the hood which I had to clean off myself. Most likely won't be returning

My stay at Royal Palms Resort and Spa was absolutely exceptional. The property’s Mediterranean-inspired architecture, lush gardens, and serene courtyards create a tranquil escape. Every detail, from hand-tiled fountains to cozy fireplaces, adds to the charm.||||The accommodations were spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, with luxurious linens and a private balcony offering breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain. Dining at T. Cook’s was delish and the staff especially Ricardo & Katie were amazing. ||||The staff exemplified world-class hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Whether for a romantic getaway or a relaxing retreat, Royal Palms offers unmatched luxury and comfort. I can’t wait to return!

Royal Palms is one of those gems, that you find and keep coming back to, time and again. The property is historic and yet it always feels fresh and classic, the grounds are stunning (hello palms, bougainvilleas, orange trees and hummingbirds), views of Camelback are spectacular, and service is excellent. And it’s dog friendly! The bar has solid cocktails and cozy ambiance with acoustic guitar on Fri/Sat, and T. Cook’s restaurant is very good.

One suggestion for improvement: a secure network for guests to join.

The hotel is beautiful and the pool and hot tub is open 24/7. the restaurant and bar are very exceptional. We have been to the spa before and it was very relaxing and wanted to try the hotel. We went there hoping to be upgraded to a Casita and they had availability so they did it without hassle. The staff if very kind and accommodating. We will definitely be going back.

I cannot say enough good things about this resort! From the moment you step into this paradise, you’re greeted by a breathtaking entrance lined with majestic trees imported from Saudi Arabia. The gardens are enchanting, featuring lemon, lime, and orange trees alongside several stunning species of cacti. The intricate tile work throughout the property and its rich historical context create a unique charm, while the awe-inspiring view of Camelback Mountain is truly unforgettable.

This place was the perfect backdrop for our important event. The casitas are beautiful, each featuring its own fireplace, and they exude a rustic yet elegant ambiance that made our stay even more special. I would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!
