Wife and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary and decided to spend it in Savannah. We were blessed to have stayed at Jan and Bryan's Bed and Breakfast. Everything was perfect - rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was always 5 star quality. Jan is a wonderful chef. The inn is picturesque and serene. Bryan's floral arrangements and fruit trees are amazing. Savannah is a beautiful city with lots of places to visit. Food is great and everyone there are so friendly. Jan and Bryan made us feel like family. They are two of the most caring and concerned individuals. We saved money and time by taking their advice on things to do in Savannah. We will definitely visit again and stay at Bryan and Jan's Inn. Thank you Jan and Bryan for your hospitality.

Roussell's Garden was a little slice of heaven in an already enchanted place. This was our first trip to Savannah, and we are so in love. In no small part due to our lovely accommodations at Roussell's Garden B&B.|This is not our sort of vacation. We rent cabins in the back of the beyond where we can hike and not see anyone. But due to some health concerns, we decided to try something more urban, and Savannah just sounded nice.|From my first phone call to book the room I was taken with Jan's friendly warmth and helpfulness. When we pulled up in front of this beautiful Victorian with colorful flowers bursting out of the front garden we knew were in the right place.|Our room, the Mandevilla, is a beauty. I picked this room (okay, the whole B&B) for the bathtub, but all of it was gorgeous. I was worried that being in town right on a busy street would be too noisy, but by 10 every night it settles down and we slept well! The bed is enormous and wonderful, plenty of closet and dresser space for a week, and the bathroom. Oh, the bathroom.|Really good coffee and breakfasts every day, and lots of terrific advice on which tours to try and how to get places. Lots of busy sightseeing, but also some lazy, luxurious afternoons writing on the porch swing and lounging in the gardens. Savannah is buggy. Arm yourself appropriately.|Oh, endless hot water and plenty of water pressure, a huge relief in a really old house!|The house is endlessly delightful too. So much personality. I know it has ghosts- how could it not?- but I'm sad to say I didn't meet any, there or anywhere else in Savannah. Not even in my new favorite place, Bonaventure Cemetery. And despite my lack of sensitivity, I have no doubt they're there. Savannah is SO haunted, in all the best possible ways and probably some unsavory ones, above and beyond the Midnight in the Garden story. It sunk its live-oak-and-Spanish-moss roots deep into our hearts. Those gracious streets, drenched in shade and flower scents, those sherbet-hued sunsets, all that glorious food, but something more, something indescribable. Even after we got back to our very beloved in farm, we both felt as if it took a full week before we were all the way back home. Part of us is still wandering the squares and exploring the parks. |Rousell's Garden was the perfect place to experience it all.

Had a wonderful two night stay! Bryan and Jan were so welcoming and have a lovely home. I can’t imagine touring the historic district and NOT staying in a historic home. Stayed in the Parlor room and LOVED having the door to the porch swing were I could sip tea and read. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious! Parking was easy but there is a bus stop right outside the front door and catching an Uber was easy AND affordable to River Market. Highly recommend “splurging” just a few extra dollars for the experience!

We stayed at the Roussell’s Bed and Breakfast in March 2022. Our check-in was easy, and our host Bryan and Jan were very helpful. Our focus on coming to Savannah was the St. Patrick’s Day parade.||The following morning, we were greeted with a great breakfast of home-made items. Eggs, French Toast, Biscuits, Grits, Ham, Sausage, and fruit. Jan also made some bread and cakes that we could take with us on our daily journey.||Bryan and Jan were very helpful with helping us choose a location to visit for the day. They even had maps and explained the bus system and how the parade would run. They provided maps to get us downtown, which is about a mile walk.||Our rooms were clean and comfortable. We selected the Carriage House East room, which is detached from the house over the garage. The area is very safe.|Savannah is a beautiful place to visit and the Spanish Moss that grows in the trees gives it a ghostly feeling. There is a great park, Forsyth Park with a nice fountain. The downtown area has lots of history and great restaurants and pubs. One thing we liked was that you can drink in the streets!||We truly felt at home at Roussell’s. We were always greeted in the morning to a smile and a delicious breakfast. Jan and Bryan were great hosts and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable.|Some other things we did were: Savannah River Boat Cruise, Tybee Island, walked the River Street area where there are shops, restaurants, and pubs.||Doug and Sharon from Massachusetts|

These are some of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met. Jan and Bryan made you feel like family. We had another couple come with us and we stayed in the carriage house and we loved the accommodations. The beds were very comfortable and the hot coffee delivery every morning was a nice surprise. There was a wonderful breakfast served every morning on their finest China and assorted homemade baked goods that was available throughout the day. The security was top of the line and if your not registered you don’t come in. Stayed almost a week and met lots of new friends around the breakfast table. Will definitely keep this on the list to come back to.

My husband and I stayed at Roussell's Garden May 15-19 and loved our stay. Jan's breakfasts were wonderful, creative, and filling while Brian's garden was peaceful after a long day of touring. Brian also was a wealth of information to help us in our quest to experience Savannah.||Two of our friends and the two of us took the two carriage rooms and enjoyed sitting out on the porch on the two rocking chairs. The room we had was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and refreshing shower.||We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Savannah.

The house and gardens are beautiful, and the hosts were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness. The fake plant in our bathroom was very dusty, and there was a lot of hair on the floor and in the shower. There are some abandoned buildings around, and in front of the house next to the road is overgrown and has a big pile of yard trash. Probably not their responsibility, but should be cleaned up nevertheless. It is conveniently located near the Dot free bus, which we rode downtown for dinner. It was an easy walk back. The buffet style breakfast was hot and tasty. For the price and location, we would stay here again.

This was our first time in Savannah. The house is beautiful. My daughter and I sat in the living room awhile and felt right at home. Our room was comfortable and peaceful. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch swing listening to the birds in the garden. Overall this place had a very relaxing and peaceful vibe. Unfortunately we had to leave quickly, and missed the delicious smelling breakfast. Hopefully we'll be back one day. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.
