Great place for kids, we absolutely loved playing here, only downside was a lack of public restrooms.

Let's start with the CON...
NO RESTROOM!!!
There are loose dogs that are domestic and some wild desert dogs I encountered on my two visits, so beware, especially if you bring kids with you. You've been warned!!!
PRO: They have planted some more trees around the pond because right now, there is NO protection from the sun. Make sure you have Sun block, hat, etc etc.
It's a very small pond, but I caught a 5lb 2oz catfish. There are plenty of Bluegills, but I haven't seen any crappies. People I encountered were very friendly and respected your space. The park is very well maintained, and nobody left their trash. I would suggest that they would have at least one large trash container somewhere around the pond, BUT in the park area(street curbside), there are two(long walk if your fishing the pond).
Additionally, there is a Canal that runs alongside the park and the tilapia seems to be the best catch.
Lastly, you are fishing a pond and canal so beware at all times of your surroundings.
NOTE: I DO NOT SUGGEST YOU SIT WITH YOUR BACK TO DESERT LANDSCAPE AROUND THE POND.
Parking is limited but you can access the pond and canal easily. I was impressed how smooth the canal road was all the way to I-8 freeway. Well enjoy!!!

We held a party at this park. . We cleaned up. Beware of high winds. All are party items blew to the grass. Hmmm.cleaned up again and stored food and party items in vehicles. It grew dark on this cloudy day...waiting for lights to switch on. Time to go. Good nite.

Small town park with plenty of green grass. One area has several playground equipment sets. Basketball hoops and a big dirt hill some children were riding their bikes down. Also a small fishing pond was on the west side. No one was fishing and the water was murky. A water canal was very close with no fence or other barriers. The park was clean with plenty of trash barrels.

It was a good little space to let the kids run after a long road trip. Has a beautiful little pond...perfect reflection and the time we were there. The grassy area was really nice. It was a little dirty (i.e littered trash)but was overall nice

Actually if it were not for the fact that a friend of ours dug that pond I'd probably give it a two star review. And I base this on not really anything concrete except that it should have a restroom. No one likes looking around to make sure the coast is clear before they urinate and that's nasty and should not be happening at the park but it does.

Nice little park with a tiny pond. No restroom. There is, however, the coolest piece of playground equipment here! I haven't seen one of those since I was in grade school. Made my week, I wish I had snapped a photo.
