We have been to three Rooted Pop-Up meals now and each time walked away raving about the food, the experience, presentation and people. Kristen is a creative and talented chef, and better still her timing is impeccable. Paired with her ability to draw people in to conversation through the meal and space, one cant help but be 'present' at a rooted event (a gift in and of itself). Rooted in the Gorge catered our wedding, and we couldn't be more pleased with the way everything went. Rooted's owner Kristen created a delicious, seasonal, vegetarian meal for us and was diligent about working with us to factor in the food allergies that some of our guests had. At the wedding itself, she and her staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, and the various stages of the meal were all presented beautifully and timed perfectly. (They even volunteered to cut and serve our wedding cake!) We'd highly recommend Rooted for a wedding or any other similar event.

Rooted in the Gorge catered our wedding at the Discovery Center. From our first conversation with Kristen, she took time to understand our needs and vision for the wedding, provided us with the right options and flexibility, and on our wedding day, delivered the best food I think any of us have ever enjoyed (including our very foodie guests). The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, plentiful, and beautifully plated. She accommodated the allergy needs for everyone (gluten free, dairy free, nut free). It's been 4 weeks and we're still getting calls from our guests raving about the food. Kristen went above and beyond in every sense to ensure our day was perfect, tasty, and low-stress.

We were so impressed with Kristen and her staff when they catered a wedding at our venue. Truth be told, we are always a bit skeptical of caterers who are working at our venue for the first time, but from what we could see Rooted was definitely over delivering. Professional, friendly staff, delicious food - lots of very happy wedding guests. We highly recommend her for wedding catering if you can get her! Like all good things, they are in high demand!

Rooted catered our wedding at the Discovery Center and WOW! I don’t know why you would hire anyone else. Kristen was professional and friendly, and her team did a great job of providing family style service during our wedding. Highly recommend the tahini cauliflower and chicken, these guys knocked it out of the park and at a very reasonable price. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated too

Rooted in the Gorge is an authentic experience that brings patrons together around a shared table. Kristen is an amazing chef, and we've been to several events that we are very happy with. Please, if you have a chance to attend a Rooted event I suggest you try and make it.

I've been to many Rooted Table dinners, and each of them have been really special experiences. This is a culinary feast and community building all in the same adventure. The food is absolutely delicious, with a wide range of ethnic roots and almost all local ingredients. And the open table concept brings people together in a happy and engaging way that builds natural relationships. I'm such a huge fan, I try to go to every Rooted Table event.

i've been fortunate to attend many rooted in the gorge events. they truly are some of the best meals i've ever had. kristin does an incredible job mixing up the types of meals she makes and they are all delicious. i highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys eating great food with great people.
