This was a fun unexpected stop. The food was delicious, the waitress very sweet and efficient. We were all stuffed from the generous portions we received!

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Roosters, as it was extremely disappointing and raises concerns about the restaurant’s management and operations.

My wife and I arrived at 8:35 PM and were informed that service might be slower than usual due to a few large parties and new kitchen staff. Understanding the situation, we decided to stay and enjoy some time together before dinner. My wife ordered 10 wings, cheese sticks, and a side salad, while I opted for the spaghetti with meat sauce from the all-you-can-eat menu.

At 8:59 PM, our food was served. Noticing that my spaghetti had very little sauce, I politely requested more. To my surprise, I was told there was no additional sauce available. When I questioned how an all-you-can-eat meal could be offered without enough sauce, I was informed that the restaurant had already closed. I pointed out that the posted closing time was 9:00 PM, but the staff responded that they had decided to close early at 8:30 PM that night. Naturally, I asked why we were seated at 8:35 PM if they had already closed, to which the response was simply, “I don’t know.”

In an effort to resolve the situation, I suggested a reasonable compromise—discounting the meal since I was unable to receive what was advertised. This request was denied. At that point, I returned my food and asked for it to be removed from the bill. The employees that work so hard in this restaurant and the city of Dahlonega deserve far better than this so very sad!!!!

My husband and I drove from Duluth for the third visit. Always have a fun and enjoyable visit.
At least 15 or more mobile radio operators enjoy the plethora of menu choices.
The Roosters staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and food arrives in a timely manner.

My favorite are the grilled w/or without barbecued Hen (chicken) Fingers with Onion rings and a (huge) side salad plus an endless glass of sweet southern tea.

My husband enjoys the soup and sandwiches or grilled chicken salad. Barbecue is also a good choice.
Someone always gets the Nachos and dip.
So many choices of good food

Super easy ,layed back and fun gathering place. Friendly staff.
Walls full of nostalgic history of the area and objects associated with a farm the mountains.
Mixed with a casual sports themed bar area and 3 large screen TVS .

Plus a nice outdoor Patio dining area
Bob Appetite!!!!!

Worth the drive. Plan a day trip and check out the area.

Small restaurant with decent chicken wings. Hamburger steak plate is good. The wing sauce is good but not consistent in flavor. Fried mushrooms were still cold in the center but taste ok. Mozzarella sticks are unremarkable.

Jules was awesome. Roosters is our favorite restaurant to go to. Absolutely love supporting non chain businesses. Recommended to everyone. Whether you are a visitor or live nearby this is definitely a great place.

Had a great experience here. Service was great! Food came out fast. Tried the fried fish sandwich with onion rings, it was really good! The fries are delicious. Definitely a good spot.

Fantastic wings, especially with BBQ and hot flavor sauce. We also had the pork sandwich and grilled cajun fish sandwich and both were great. The server was very sweet and provided great recommendations.

Have visited this cafe many times over the years, but today is the first time we have had a complaint. Hubs had a bowl of chili that looked really good, unfortunately, he found a hair in his bowl half way down. We know it wasn't his or it would be short and white but was long and dark. Hairnets should be worn at all times in the kitchen to help prevent this.
