Mouse poop in bed. Dried dirty water marks all over the walls. Dirty floors. Dirty door frame. Completely filthy. Lock broken off door. Exterior door didn’t fit in frame so cold air and light could come in (apparently critters as well - see first comment). Handle on one of the cabinets disconnected on one side.

Floor heaters were in every room.

Very nice gentleman at the front desk. Unfortunately a very poorly maintained property.

Got one of the motel rooms and was very happy with it! A little scuffed up, but very clean and comfortable. There's even a back sliding door that opens right up to the pond where there's birds in the daytime and bats at night! I did take a star off for the shower. Nice and clean, but ohhh goodness the shower head needs either a vinegar soak or a replacement. Only a few of the jets work so the water comes out in streams that could probably peel a potato. Though my husband tried it first and it was pretty funny to hear his reaction. Great location for outdoor recreation, but I'd like a nice shower when I get back from a hike!

Blown away by the ease and peace of our stay at Roosevelt Resort Motel! Stopped through on a cross country trip and we’re going to check in after 5. We received the code to a lock box and our suite number. Super easy and clean! Parking right outside our door with the most beautiful sunrise!

My family and I rented the 3b/2b house located at the catch and release pond for over Christmas. While the location is lovely, the house was very lacking as far as basic cleaning and supplies go. We had to wash all the dishes and silverware before we could use them, ceiling fans were coated in thick dust, intake vent was covered in dust, extremely dusty on the TV stand. For the price tag of over $500 for 2 nights, the filth was very disappointing. Also just basic maintenance is much needed - broken jagged window in the dining area which luckily no one sliced a hand on, outlet falling out of the wall in the bedroom, shower fixtures loose on the wall, missing mini blinds, etc.
The location is great though - easy drive to Roosevelt Lake and other points of interest in the area.

Went here on a last minute trip to get away from phx with the family for the weekend and it was a great time. Nice rooms, beautiful pond, good location, super friendly staff. The kids working the office were professional and well mannered. The elder man (dad I assume) was very kind we had the room next to his and he greeted us each time we passed each other. Highly recommend the resort to anyone who wants a nice weekend away from the city. There is also a nice restaurant next door we went to for breakfast and portion sizes were huge. The pond is fishable (stocked with carp) it is catch and release but still a great time fishing or just sitting at the bench with your morning coffee or just before the sun goes down and watching the bats come to life and fill the night sky!

Positive: Good price. In a nice location. Easy. Negative: A little dated. No morning coffee in the lobby. Lobby staff unavailable much of the time. The pillows could double as flood zone sandbags.

The hotel is in a great location and it's affordable. The only problem I had was the shower. The head is not attached to the wall and a vinegar bath every once in a while is a good thing, that head could probably peal a potato

The best place you can ever go to when you're going to stay at rosevelt. They have a pond with plenty of carp, bass, bluegill, and catfish. But you gotta understand that it is catch and release, so catching fish is 10 times harder, which for me it makes for a great challenge.The rooms are very welcoming with signs about fish ,and the folk around are very kind I wouldn't suggest fishing at night if you're scared of bats, but overall, it lives to its name.
