Yo check this place out this coffee gas. I got a simple vanilla cold brew and my friend got a vanilla latte. Tastes so natural and pure. Starbucks is right next door, don’t go there, go to Rook 🙂 Simply delectable

Coffee is delicious! Only gripe is you are essentially paying $.50/oz. 12 oz of coffee in a 20 oz cup of iced coffee. I asked for less ice and milk and this is what I received.

Agreed with other post--Vibe at Rook White Street is Dead. The woman at the register was automated, impersonal and seemingly dehumanized. I had finally bought my tenth cup of coffee and had the card to prove it, but since "all our stamps are online now" she refused to honor the material form in front of her. She just kept repeating this, rather than looking at the stamps on my card. Then she sanitized her hands. I appreciate good hygiene but not sterilized interpersonal relations. It felt like a bad customer service phonecall with AI, where you keep pressing zero to speak to a representative, I.E. a human being, but it's no longer an option.

What is a coffee shop if not a moment to touch down with humanity and indulge the senses. Now everyone even orders a cup of coffee in advanced, online...no doubt convenient...but just another example of humanity becoming the machine. If nothing else, I would hope that breif instant of an exchange with the person behind the register was affirming and real.

Furthermore, my recollection of Rook was a strong, delicious cup of coffee; mine was dilute and weak drank black. Most disappointing.

Small coffee shop they have some collectibles and buy with their logo on it. Nowhere to sit but plenty of benches and all the relaxing places around town with a walking distance to sit

If you Rook, you know. If you haven't Rook'ed, definitely try it. Various grinds to try, but I usually go to the New Orleans iced. Only complaint is they took down the large menu behind the counter so I'm not sure where their menu is located anymore.

Updated: the plastic cups for cold drinks leak since the lids don't seal. You either need to provide straws of get better lids. My guest and I both have stains on our shirts and jackets due to this terrible design flaw. Please share with your corporate.

I entered the coffee shop 10 minutes before the closed. I felt bad because I knew they were starting to clean up but they were kind. I ordered the New Orleans iced coffee. It was robust and flavorful. The coffee was a little over 5$. Worth it.

Parking can be tricky, but well worth it for their coffee! It doesn’t disappoint

Glad I am not local to this Rook because I was treated like I was a burden for stopping in for a drink. I know people have bad days, but I left feeling not so great.
