The rooms were way way too small. This was just a flop house for sure. The location's fine. And the scenery around it is fine. The lady running the place was super nice and easy to get along with. It was quiet.

We booked 2 cabins for our 2nd stay at this resort and they were the CLEANEST cabins we have ever had. We have been visiting the Bull Shoals area for over 25 years and love this lake. The new owners, Michelle and Albert are very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this resort to anyone. It is so close to the marina and has a beautiful view of the lake.

Wow. Had a great time . Went down after season . Very nice cozy cabin. Most important it was very clean and hospitable. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had enough uninstalls. We loved the salt water pool. It was very clean and very therapeutic to the body. I would recommend anybody that wants to get away and unwind to try this place.

Roo B Doo's:||||Pros: Good for 2 people |||| Cold air conditioning|||| Rooms are Mostly clean|||| Pool area is nice and clean. |||| Convenience store onsite is great for refreshments and forgotten toiletries, || etc.|||| Located close to the lake. (Not lakefront.. really short drive to the || marina/boat ramp) Decent spot to park the boat by the room.||||Cons: Shower smelled like sewer in one of the cabins, most likely no trap || underneath according to the plumber in our group. |||| Cookstoves in rooms are minis. A regular cookie sheet won't fit in the oven. || Think tiny house size. Plan accordingly if you are hoping to cook for a family.|||| Charcoal grills have all seen better days. They are almost worn out || completely.|||| One of us asked to check out a little late. Owner advised check out at || 10am is strict and they have other guests checking in that day. He must have || forgotten we had several cabins still reserved and would notice that no one || else checked in that evening, and the cleaning crew showed up after 2pm || for that room. A little hospitality goes a long ways with us. I suppose the || incoming guests could have cancelled after 10a that morning...||||||Overall, decent place for a fishing trip. Would not recommend it for a family reunion, IF you are planning to cook for several people at once.

Such an amazing experience! The owners are such an amazingly kind and generous couple. My wife and I stayed at Roo B Doo and were treated better than we have at any high dollar resort we've ever stayed at. We highly recommend you stay here if you are in the area!

We have always stayed at roo b doo when we came to see family in Arkansas, it's less then to miles away I. Pontiac mo.|| || Unaware that it had new owners, we reserved 2 cabins for 3 nights at 80 a night per cabin plus pet deposit. || Checked in on Thursday took the kids swimming (nice pool) used the only towls we had (room towls) . On the was back from the pool we asked for fresh towls to shower. We were very rudely told we were not supposed to use those towls at the pool . I explained we had no others and did t know we were not allowed to use them . She then very grudgingly got up and got us 3 towels ( for 2 rooms 8 people) and scolded me again for using them. I felt so bad I told her if she like I would take them and wash them.|| SATURDAY asked AGAIN for clean towls and was told NO WE USED OURS AT THE POOL. 8 people now not showered for 3 days because we can't dry off with clean towls. || Also they watched everything you did. We were extremely uncomfortable. Will NEVER stay again. And will tell everyone why.|| Also FYI. Others at the pool were also talking about how bad customer service was..||6-9 thru 6-12 2022||Very sad. Use to love staying here.

Had a great time here! They were very accommodating! Great view of the lake and clean, comfortable cabins. Horseshoes! Very fun! Just seconds away from Pontiac Cove Marina.

The owner is very kind and helpful. He helped get our camper leveled in a spot that wasn't so level. He was very eager to help us in any way. It's a beautiful spot. You can see the lake from where we are.
