This was the coolest thing to do with my husband!! The MOST UNIQUE ADVENTURE!!! Worth every cent! We are going to be trying each one of the different rooms in time because it was that FUN! I was so excited about it I couldn’t sleep the night before. my hubby had no idea what we were doing and it blew his mind how awesome it was when we got going in the adventure. Advice for you all… grab something to eat and snak on again later in the night! There is sooo much to do in the room you won’t want to leave! We got awesome sandwiches at a great deli down the road from Hillsboro house. There is a decent size fridge with freezer and tiny microwave and keurig. WE CANT WAIT TO DO ANOTHER THEMED ROOM!!!!

If you're looking for a truly unique adventure and a night of fun and surprises with someone special, you can't go wrong with Romantic Adventure Getaways. The Treasure Island Suite was packed with puzzles, tasks, and truly astounding surprises all night long! We started as soon as we checked in at 5, took the recommended break for dinner (we'd probably eat beforehand or bring food in so as not to lose time, if we had to do it again) and didn't finish up until close to midnight. Never felt like anything was taking too long, just enjoyed every new experience as it opened up! The QR codes made it easy to help out if we got stuck, but we didn't usually need any. If anything, I wish we'd had MORE time to enjoy the fun, even though we were able to do more activities in the morning. The bed was super comfy, the spa/jet tub/shower was luxurious, and all of the other little touches made this a perfect overnight, romantic getaway. Come prepared to put your brains to the test. Bring snacks! This is not a boring night in -- it's full of activity and enjoyment, as much as you want to make of it. We're already planning to make our next trip to one of the other suite choices as an annual getaway! 100% recommend if you and your partner like working together to solve challenges while also being playful and romantic.

We were gifted this experience and we loved every moment. It was truly a magical and fun adventure. This is the most unique “cut off” from the world and just be the two of you again experience. It reconnects that bond often lost to the weary days of everyday life.
Best part is- pack light. You only really need enough to be decent when you aren’t in your suite. Let the romance and mystery take you away for a night!

This is the most unique, romantic, and fun experience you and your partner will ever have! I knew from watching videos and exploring the website that it would be cool, but I had no clue just how intriguing and well thought out it would be in person. Just when we thought we had seen all of the house another door would open.
It took my husband and I about 6 hours to complete all of the mysteries and experiences. We stayed in the Wizard Romance Suite and it was fantastic. I won't give away all the things you'll discover during your experiences, but if you're a Harry Potter fan, this will not disappoint! Don't let the price stop you from checking this place out. It's so worth the price and is unlike anything you've done before. It would be great for a birthday, anniversary, Christmas gift, or just to rekindle your love. I highly recommend it.

We absolutely love Romantic Adventure Getaways! My husband and I were looking for something unique to do last year and we found these AMAZING getaways! We have been to both the Mt. Vernon & Hillsboro locations. If you're looking for something different for a special occasion or just for some romance, then you should definitely check out any of their suites! I promise you; this is unlike anything else you have ever done as a couple!

If you love Escape Rooms, then think of something similar but SO MUCH MORE and incredibly romantic! I'm talking slides, massage chairs, steamy showers and more. My husband and I loved both locations and themes. We are already talking about the next time we get to come back!

My husband and I stayed at the amazing Harry Potter themed suite for our anniversary that was so much fun! It was an evening of scavenger hunt, finding and deciphering clues, activities, hidden rooms, tunnels, slide, up/down stairs, and much more. We had the best time! I highly recommend Romantic Adventure Getaways, they thought of absolutely every detail and make the experience truly magical. We will visit again! 😁

This was the perfect quick getaway for us! We did the treasure island room, it was very well done with lots to do. We were engaged and having fun the entire time. The clues and puzzles aren’t too hard or too easy. You can tell the owners take a lot of care in planning and making sure everything is perfect for their guests! We will definitely be back to try one of the other rooms!

We stayed in the Wizard suite and it was incredible! The attention to detail was phenomenal and the room itself was super clean and spacious. The experience absolutely exceeded our expectations with one surprise after another, my partner and I were both in awe by the end.
