This place is amazing! We stayed in the Paradise Lost suite. My expectations were quite high, and I was not at all disappointed. Every single detail was on-theme and so fun. We have been to many escape rooms, and I thought the puzzles were tricky enough that we didn’t rush through everything, but easy enough that we didn’t get frustrated. Throughout our stay I did not hear any of the other guests. It truly felt like we were in our own private house. My only head’s up to future visitors is that the tub takes a while to fill, so you may want to plan ahead with that aspect. Truly, though, everything about this trip was perfect. 10/10 recommend coming here!

This was such a fun and incredible experience! A very unique and fun way to spend an evening. The room was beautifully decorated, and very clean. We had a blast finding and solving all of the clues. We did the Louis XIV room, and loved having ‘the biggest bed in Ohio’. Absolutely recommend this place this place if you’re looking for a unique couples experience.

My husband and I traveled from Alabama to do this for our 30th anniversary and it was so worth it!! We laughed so much and had the absolute best time! He was shocked at how much thought went into the planning of this house and experience. It was relaxing, romantic and something we’ll talk about for a long time! We stayed in the King Louis suite this time and would love to try another someday. The bed was huge and surprisingly very comfortable!
The only recommendation I would make is to either put in normal light switches or set the timers for longer. I kept having to get up and move around to get the lights to come on during breakfast but everything else was absolutely perfect.
We stayed two nights and spent one day in the nearby Amish community and went hiking at A state park. We also ate diner at the Alcove which was super fancy and very good food. The town of Mt. Vernon is very beautiful and we felt safe at all times.
10/10 recommend!!

We stayed in the Paradise Lost Room in Mount Vernon, OH. The house was easy to find, and located near restaurants and stores. Our room was very clean and inviting. We had such a great time with the clues and exploring room to room. It was truly a great experience and we will definitely be back!! I highly recommend this experience!!

We arrived exactly at 5 o’clock. Got settled in our room and went to dinner, at the Alcove, for our 6 o’clock reservations. Once back at the room, we began solving the puzzles. These puzzles were well thought out & the perfect amount of difficulty. We read other reviews, talking about running out of time. We did not feel that time was an issue, so don’t feel rushed like we did. Take your time and enjoy each room you discover. As far as the rooms, they were smaller than excepted, the shower in the king Louis suite was difficult to operate as some of the nozzles were stripped making it difficult to turn things on. The massage chairs were spectacular and we went back to that room three times. It was a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone that can maneuver through challenging spaces. Great thing to do to reconnect or spice things up.

This was even cooler than the pictures made it seem to be! I’m only down voting location by a star because you need more locations!!! (Closer to Buffalo please!) We stayed in the King Louis suite. It was so well thought out and literally incredible. We had plans to leave for dinner but once we got in and got settled we didn’t want to leave! Luckily we brought some food with us. The motion activated sounds and music was SO COOL! We can’t wait to try out the other rooms!

We had a blast! We stayed in the genie room. It was so fun crawling through the tunnels, figuring out the clues for our next step. It was also very clean and very private. We haven’t laughed that long in awhile. Someone put ALOT of thought and effort into this home. Great job and such creative thinking. We will be back!! We made a joke about getting a different room each anniversary but that actually might happen! Thanks for having us.

What a fun way to unwind and pamper ourselves. We did the Genie room and we loved it. The clues had just the right amount of challenge to them to make it exciting when solved. The hot tub was really cool, however it did take a long time to fill up. The bed was a novel concept, but does get you dizzy and nauseous for anybody that experiences motion sickness. Luckily, it only spins for a bit and then stays motionless for the most part. The disco lights were really cool for the puzzle solving, but not so much when sleeping since they are triggered by motion, but when actually leaving the bed. We are now wanting to do the rest of the rooms. My only complaint would be that the sidewalk and steps leading up to the front door were covered in ice and snow making it concerning for our safety arriving and leaving. Once inside, we had an awesome experience!!
