Had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, and a side salad. Was cooked perfectly, not over salted and great customer service. Very clean and great atmosphere.

Chicken Fried Steak was great tasting and tender. The new green beans recipe tastes amazing!!! Becky Brown was our waitress and is extremely knowledgeable of the menu and oh so sweet and polite. Definitely recommend this place. (Ate food and forgot to take a picture of plate). Atmosphere is

What a great place! The definition of a hidden gem. We hadn't dined here in years, and it is now such a charming place with excellent food and service! We had chicken fried steaks and an Italian Lemon cake dessert which were as good as we've had anywhere in the state. Morgan was the perfect friendly server, and the talented chef, Becky even came out to check on how we liked our meal.
We are already looking forward to returning with friends to share this new discovery!

It was quiet when we arrived for lunch. We ordered Caesar salad to go with our Chicken Fried Steaks and fried okra. Food came out quickly and cooked to perfection!! Can’t wait to come back!!

After rain washed out the races at Longdale, we happened upon this place, and we were surprised it was in the state park. Wife and I had the delicious Chicken Fried. The gravy was close to being as good as my wifes. The potatoes were real and yummy. The General Manager took our drink order. Although they didn't have the actual ingredients for my wifes drink, the GM listened and delivered a very tasty substitute. It was fun to talk and laugh with the GM and our server as we relaxed before and after our food.

We will be back when we are in the area. Heck, we may come and spend time at the park.

The lake is still a disappointment, but chef Dalton Hays cooks fish like NO other. Coated in crispy perfection revealing a decadently flaky perfectly cooked bite to savor is the real treat at Roman Nose. He has what I believe is a secret to his tartar sauce as it balances but never outweighs the fish. My husband is a man 👨🏼 f few words but he said the chicken fried steak was Tender and flavorful. Our hostess had the mostess I wish I caught her name … she treated us like family. The kind of family you love. Well done team Lookout Kitchen. We will be back.

A group of us went to the Lookout Kitchen after a golf tournament there. We did have to find someone to get seated. There was only one wait person and he seemed to be trying his best to meet the needs of each table.
Our food came out one plate at a time as it was ready. One order was incorrect and had to be remade. That took a very long time.
Our group had fish,burgers, grilled chicken, pizza and chicken. Sandwich and chicken strips.
Everyone enjoyed their food.

The food was fantastic(fish basket with fried okra, full order) and the waitress(Selena) was fantastic also! I can’t recommend this place enough for friendly service and great food.
